My old fridge had a drip tray at the bottom that had to be cleaned out every couple years or this would happen.

 

Mine had condensing lines and what not associated with it and if it was full, would not work properly. Idk the exact details. I googled the issue with my model of frig, that came up as a suggestion. I did it and it fixed it.

 

So we don’t have any Alexa or Google Home. Is there a preference or suggestion?

 

I have Alexa and really like it, they seem to be running ahead in the race

This is not helping. I really don’t want either but I feel like it makes sense. I do have some lifx lights that would be nice if they were voice controlled. Plus we do have a ton of movies for my daughter on amazon prime. She can navigate the controllers but it would be need for her to be able to put a movie on.

 

I’d wait, space is going to evolve massively in the next few years. It’s kind of Wild West territory now. Unless you see something for a price point that is a no brainer.

 

Anyone ever seen something like this? I need to find/build something like this for a corner cabinet I have.

 

Posted a little while back but am building a covered screened in porch. Getting close to where I'll be working on the ceiling with recessed lights, fans, etc. Am thinking I want to put some in ceiling speakers in that I can play music on when having parties/people over and can also run for the tv out there. Anyone have any thought's or recommendations? Haven't looked too much into it yet but was just thinking of some standard speakers and wire them to a basic receiver that I can have under the tv. Don't love the idea of having a receiver out there though as I am going to have a TCL roku tv and didn't want to have anything under the tv and wanted that area to look "clean".

5%, but that was only because we wanted to pay cash for renovations. Total expenditure of down payment and renovations was 22% of purchase price. Also the loan has a 20 year term.

feel free to educate me. I'm just going off what the accountant fiance is saying. I will readily admit this isn't my area of expertise.

 

My Pmi is somewhere around $30 a month. Another 10% to save that wasn't worth it for my situation.

PMI is usually 0.5-1% of the loan, so a $450 monthly payment isn’t THAT crazy.

 

Who is your loan officer? Thats asinine. I've gone on PMI rants itt before, but to keep it short every situation is different. There aren't, however, many situations where I think it makes sense to sacrifice liquidity when you don't have to. Look into LPMI, which is lender paid, and you get a slightly higher interest rate, or first time home buyer programs. It should never be $450/mo for PMI.

 

Most of the time .25 - .3% coverage is required. First time home buyer programs can get to as low as .12%

 

Mine is 41 dollars a month.
