Just call and they'll manually review it. They have to manually review everything under 65 days. Under 8 days since your last app: Don't apply 8-65 days since your last app: Apply, call, they'll confirm something or process something or ask you to lower your credit then approve you 66+: Free miles
Do I have to call or will they automatically move credit limits around and approve it? Edit: called and said they’re mailing me a letter with “instructions”
Doesn't seem likely that they'd do that without talking to you but I've never not called so idk for sure
if you're talking Lux yes Apply for an American Express Card with this link. We can both get rewarded if you're approved! http://refer.amex.us/JONATAgjIl?xl=cpf5
Ok guys, back in for my quarterly “what card next” Currently have: CSR CFU CIP World of Hyatt Hilton Ascend Discover It Delta Platinum AMEX Marriott Premiere Plus At or over 5/24. Any cards I should personally get, or is it time to go back through the good ones above with my wife, who has basically a clean slate?
The wife cuz you'd get referrals too in some cases Or double djp the southwest for companion pass with her next week too get companion pass
Fuck you ajax Anyway. Anybody mess with Lifemiles from Avianca? They're a Star Alliance member and have a CC with a 40k sign up bonus with no minimum spend, and a promo code supposedly good for an additional 20k through 12/1. There's a 159 annual fee, but some have had luck asking them to waive it.
So I’m under 5/24, but have recently done a CSR/CSP double dip and the SPG Lux AmEx. What’s available to me? Marriott Rewards Premier Plus?
Have chase ink, trying to amass more Marriott points (or UR points.) If I can’t make enough Marriott points happen, I may go the Hyatt route, but their properties in Greece are limited.
How long has it been between your CIP app? The Ink Cash or Ink Unlimited would get you 50k UR points.
Only other Marriott Bonus you're eligible for is the SPG Biz Card because of that SPG Lux bonus. If you want UR points I'd maybe try the CIC or CIU?
If anyone is looking to get an Amex platinum on this thread, I can refer them for 75,000 MR bonus after 5,000$ spend. While this is not the highest ever offer (100k MR but it seems like it's highly targeted now), and the current public offer is 60K points.
i cant get over how poorly the marriott/spg website merger has gone seems half the time i go to log in its down
Can't wait to start earning those BonVoy points!!! If you guys missed it - https://onemileatatime.com/marriott-bonvoy/ The stupidity that went into choosing that name must have been astounding.
I had to fight them for almost 100,000 points they lost. They were all in my activity but they didn't show in my total. Took at least 6 hours on the phone
Those double dipping with spouses taking on same cards, do you add yourself as an authorized user or no?
not usually unless there's a bonus for doing it or benefits pass to the user (like Amex Plat) we're in a unique spending position where she basically never spends money when i'm not there
It only adds an account to your profile if it's a personal card, no? Biz cards would be fine to add a spouse as an AU i think.
How long do hard inquries take to show up on your credit report? I still haven't been hit by my applications in September
Anybody have a referral for a Hilton Honors AMEX card? Going to sign up later tonight Edit nvm i can’t use a referrer on a mailer
Ya, they're my only two. I got reserve when it first came out a couple years ago. Preferred was 2 months ago that I downgraded.
I have I have 305,000 Chase rewards points and want to use them to book a vacation. Is there a best way to do it? I'd prefer to do a cruise but would look at others. Basically, can you help me maximize my points.
Likely you'll transfer points to Hyatt and get really dope all inclusives. Then use the rest of your points for flights either by booking directly or transferring to United
Same question, same answer? 346,750 UR points 200,000 SPG points incoming next month Goal is round trip from ATL to ATH, and best redemption value in Athens, Santorini, and Crete. Did a quick look on the UR travel portal and the business class flights were listed there as $15,000 whereas Kayak lists them at $5,000...
