I read somewhere that they want one more top end piece to go with EP/Boeser/Horvat/Quinn Hughes, so all those 1 goal losses are kind of exactly what they're looking for. The top 6-7 of this years draft is starting to look really good, so they'll probably be quite happy being not quite there for one more year.
