About to start giving up on trying to find someone to go to this bowl game with me. Fuck the Gators and their bitch ass AD for ducking us. Michigan definitely deserved the bowl game close to Ann Arbor in Atlanta lmbo.
Why didn't the committee put Florida in the Fiesta? LSU is ranked higher don't they deserve a close game?
I’m eating lunch and scrolling through threads. Why is it so weird that I’d respond to a post that’s an outright lie about my school?
I mean it’s not a money issue for me. I’m Delta Gold and replenish hotel points as fast as I use them. I’m not going to travel out there by myself. I get why people can’t just drop thousands on flights at short notice. I was just hoping to find someone that was going.
I was referring to our resident obsessive's response. But yea that trip just kinda sucks from a time and money standpoint. I can afford it just fine but that still doesn't make it worth it.
Oh I put him on ignore. Maybe I’ll take him off after the season when hopefully he left this thread and doesn’t have 1/2 the posts on each page.
I call shadeeeeeeeeeeeee 2017 UCF The 2017 Knights ducked a hurricane-scuttled game against Georgia Tech, thus not having to play a Power 5 opponent until the Peach Bowl. Standard excuse for the upset: Auburn didn’t care. The Knights then had the audacity to call themselves national champs, all because of little things like “being undefeated” and “having a transitive victory over the entire National Championship.” But the season was a blip on the radar, despite the fact that the program just a few years before won a Fiesta Bowl over Baylor. Scott Frost was the only reason UCF won, as revealed by his five victories in a single season at Nebraska. 2018 UCF Somehow, UCF went undefeated once more. But they did it with the 83rd-ranked schedule. It doesn’t matter that they had another Power 5 game nixed due to weather. They finished behind two-loss teams in the Playoff rankings again. https://www.sbnation.com/college-fo...boise-state-utah-tcu-group-of-five-undefeated
Honestly cannot see LSU staying within two touchdowns of UCF. Their top def tackle is sitting out so their alleged advantage against the run is gone (wouldn’t have mattered whether he played regardless) and UCF will have that ever present chip on their shoulder as they should. This won’t be close. Save this post.
He obviously couldn't have been there for discussions on UF/UCF and UF/Michigan, but was he allowed to discuss UCF/LSU
"hey scotty we're about to discuss uf vs ucf" "what's that? lsu vs. ucf?" "oh ok yeah we're about to discuss michigan vs uf, please leave." "sure no problem."
All the press on this game in one convenient story, boy has the narrative around us changed a lot in a year. https://www.nola.com/lsu/2018/12/wh...t-lsu-ucfs-selections-to-the-fiesta-bowl.html
Anyone that believes what people say in public is exactly what the say behind closed doors is a moron.
I saw they have one corner sitting out, but that's it. The LB is playing. They have another corner who has been hurt and won't play. As of right now, it sounds like they're missing two corners, and we're missing our QB.
LSU reloads NFL defensive players like we reload victories. Not expecting much dropoff from their next CB up
I just love how casual he makes the catch becuase of how bad the DBs play it. You never see a hail Mary caught like someone warming up on the sidelines.
meh. like most people we don't even care about the gators - would rather just have the closer bowl game.
someone said a qb could not throw yet when my mug looked up it looked like 358 yards passing on the tron . inject this boomfer ?
The guy in the back was a fucking LB that hardly played that year. But he was like 6'4" and really lanky, so they thought he would be good to put back there, instead of someone like Justin Hardy who would catch anything in site, or at least knock the ball away.

Can you direct me to the eyerolling? Was it this part in the SI article: “Disappointed fans can blame the committee, but the group appears to have followed protocol, as the committee is instructed to avoid landing a Group of Five representative in the same bowl game in consecutive years.”
