I'm not gonna stop partying for like three weeks once Trump dies. And yes, those are rookie numbers, I've gotta pump those numbers up, I know.
wes tegg as far as those with pensions and those that do the hard labor, redirect that money to help these people first. I don’t give a shit, I want the planet to not be shit, and I don’t want to fuck with people’s livelihoods. Many of these sectors and industries could be set up giving people a chance to acclimate into a new industry. Is it hard? Absolutely, is it something our country continues to not touch because of backwoods thinking, even more so. Just like that damn healthcare that was so terrible. It’s helping those that were against it the most.
If anyone is looking to do something nice for the holiday instead of getting your uncle new headphones. Or in addition to....
From the Washington Post: In 187 years of existence, Little Rock had never elected an African-American mayor — until Tuesday night. Frank Scott Jr., a 34-year-old former aide to the state's last Democratic governor, will run Arkansas's capital city after a 16-point runoff victory. For the first time, the mayors in the biggest cities of each deep South state — Atlanta, Birmingham, Jackson, Little Rock and New Orleans — will be African American. All of them are under 50 years old, and two are women.
I recall there being some discussion at the time about the State Dept. not making it as clear as they couldashoulda with Saddam that he needed to stay out of Kuwait. I'm not particularly inclined to blame it on missed or mixed signals, because at the end of the day he should have calculated that we wouldn't let naked aggression like that stand in an area that we deemed vital to our energy security. Once committed to military action, Bush wisely refrained from invading Iraq itself, knowing full well that if he broke Iraq he'd own it, and he understood that getting rid of Saddam wouldn't be worth the cost of having to garrison the country for x number of years. I do think that he dropped the ball on protecting the Kurds in the north, though, but that decision may have had more to do with allaying Turkish concerns than anything else.
I've seen estimates for Reagan's funeral as high as $800 million. The main cost was giving federal employees a paid day off, which was around $400-500 million alone. So the actual funeral still cost $300-400 million. GHWB will probably be somewhere between $500 million and $1 Billion.
One of their campaign strategies in 04 was to get ballot measures on the state level asking the public to weigh in on whether gay people ought to be able to get married In oregon it came in the form of a constitutional amendment with the slogan "one man, one woman" and it passed by a landslide
This is separate from the investigation that was ongoing with the Clinton one during the election, right?
Not owned or run by Jared at all. His brother owns a stake. Also a client of mine so they can't be all that bad. Their plans are weird but kinda cheap if you get the gov't subsidy.
That buzzfeed story is pretty damn crazy It's like something a post-wwii cia would do if they had facebook
It actually warms me a bit to know that Haley now gets to consider what it actually takes to replace her.
