That second goal was gorgeous though. Could have been played better but no way did anyone to expect it to be that well hit. First goal obviously not so much.
Well at least we don't have to pay them the same as the Men now based on making millions on their Olympic victory tour.
FC Dallas Academy U-15 side defeats USWNT 5-2 in scrimmage Posted on April 3, 2017 FRISCO (Via FC Dallas) – The U.S. Women’s National Team returns to Toyota Stadium on Thursday evening, and just like in their Olympic Qualifying preparation a year ago, they found to friendly competition in the FC Dallas Academy. On Sunday, the Women played a scrimmage against the U-15 Academy team at SMU, a game which FCD won 5-2 on the back of goals from Kameron Lacey, Giggs Adames, Ivan Juarez and a brace from Nathan Hayes.
after reading the names Kameron and Giggs, I had no idea which team was being made reference to. I went to the 3rd name, Ivan, in a rubber match.
Got myself a suite for the game vs England tonight. The Stoneman Douglas team is in front of me with signs for their teammate that died. Cool of USA soccer to get them all special jerseys and stuff.
No. That wasn't legal. Solo was famously (and wrongfully) called for it in that 2011 WC game vsBrazil .
2019 men's Copa América final and men's Gold Cup final are on the same day as the 2019 WWC final. FIFA
It's going to get lost but they are looking for pay that is in correct proportions - not necessarily the same amounts (at least that's how I read it). They are also rightfully pissed off if their working conditions, performance standards, medical treatment and grievances aren't taken seriously compared to male counterparts. But I'm sure most of the online rage will just be about raw dollars (FIFA pools of cash differences) and not equal treatment.
I want them to be treated equally, but they did this before the Olympics too then came to a new CBA and here we are again. Why sign a new CBA if you still don’t think you are getting your equal share?
