Yeah losing by more than 100 tickets helps the losing team by allowing them to capture points quicker
Picked it up for $30 at Target. Loved BF1. Sometimes you hisj have to fight in gigantic battles that CoD will never match.
I’ve been enjoying this game so far. Only complaint right now is that fortifications are destroyed too easily.
I like GO. Although when the Germans are invading Rotterdam for some reason the Brits are flying them in. Im also a fan of the last stand if the game goes into overtime. The addition of Frontlines is fine by me. It can glitch and you get stuck in purgatory because the game won't end. But other than that it's fun completely leveling a map. It can be exahausting but if you don't like that just play breakthrough. Hamadas Conquest Assault day is just stupid. I liked it in BF1. But that was because they didn't have Ops for those later maps. Hamadas is just too fucking big. And I don't think anyone really solidifies a position and just runs randomly around the map. Imo they should've made that a tank battle mode.
Agreed, map sucks. There's tons of elevation as well, which is fine, but not if you need to run for 5 minutes to shoot something. Half the size would be better and literally 3/4 of the maps is not even within sniping range.
I’m a fan of grand operations too, it’s just that it needs to be reworked. Literally nothing matters till day 3 besides trying to bank/deny extra attacker lives. Also the bomb being always visible on air assualt is a pain. They will make the bomb go in and out of visibility in the next patch. Still haven’t played last stand. The one chance I had at playing it I got stuck in the load out menu :(
Don’t know how often you guys party up, but I’ve put up a Discord server for all games. Hop in, and I’ll have a BF channel set up sometime today for you guys. https://discord.gg/stAychg
Guess so. I never have problems finding games. But I guess it's not as big as they expect with at this level. The game is amazing though.
Yeah not sure what happened, but their hard copy sales sucked. I've never had an issue finding games and think it's a lot of fun. They've got some problems to fix for sure though. Trying to do the tides of war makes it clear that the medic / ammo crates have to change to an AOE heal. It's worthless if players have to toggle it to use
Maps are highly disappointing to me to start. Based on what they did in BF1, still can correct it though.
Fuck I was getting pissed trying to get people to take the health pouch from the crate. One dude wouldn’t take it and died... let him bleed out.
The new TTK changes are just pathetic. Catering to Christmas noobs is a clown move. The worst part about it is TTD is what needs revising. And to make the people who loved the ttk happy they gave us a few conquest maps. Gee thanks. I play breakthrough ffs.
Wasn't even aware of the changes. Had a few instances where I normally tap my trigger and it puts them down and they kept coming at me. But yeah, pretty much everything they are doing is the blueprint to kill a game. From the trailer through now.
I’m not a fan either. Their netcode is atrocious, which is usually the case for bf launches, but instead of actually fixing it they decided to just change everything else unannounced. Still get one framed killed and shot behind cover regularly. Dice said they were doing netcode tests over the weekend so hopefully they get that ironed out and revert back to the old damage values.... but I’m not holding my breath.
I also continue to encounter instances where a game loads up black. Screen just remains black, I can even know that I spawned and I am shooting my weapon but nothing, have to back out. Other issue that I had three or four times. I can shoot, but no bullets fly out of my gun. Literally shooting blanks.
Also tried some core severs this weekend and the level of player in those makes it very difficult. Didn’t have a great game in those servers, but definitely had fun. Decided to try a standard game before I got off last night and ended up getting the mvp as a medic, but it really wasn’t as enjoyable.
That’s two games in a row with battlefront two. Hopefully EA is learning their limits. Spoiler lol no
TTK feels oh so goooood. 2 new weapon additions so far. The Ribeyrolles and the m1897 shotgun. Loved the Ribey in BF1. And with the new TTK changes this one is a beast as well. Without a doubt it will be nerfed. It's just too good. The m1897 is straight gutter trash. Don't even try it. Now I have the Turner SMLE, Stg, and Ribeye all gold plated. DICE needs to adds golden scopes to the Assault class.
Looks like the next patch will have a ton of improvements. Not sure if netcode issues are fixed but a lot of the bad animations glitches and stuff like improved bipods will be included. The really need to fix tides of war if that’s what they think will sustain the player base. I barely got the helmet yesterday after 4 straight days of none of my progress being tracked. Must’ve finished that progression moments before it switched to this weeks tide of war, which of course isn’t tracking my progress.
Yeah but that rat burner looks stupid af. They're minor things that I do because it's there but in reality don't care about.
3 out of the 4 weeks are guns that I’d rather not spend CC on considering that your CC earning potential drops off a cliff when you reach level 50. This is their mechanism to keeping the game fresh and it should at least be acknowledged that it’s broke.
They Rib is going to get nerfed with a quickness. And it comes with a scope out of the gate as well. Also experienced the no bullet issue yesterday twice. Shot blanks. Then last night I jumped in tides and not sure if it was lag, latency or hit detection but it was completely off. My response time to the server was more than adequate so I shut down.
Does anyone have trouble with sniping? I'll be aiming at someone and not even get a hit mark. It usually happens the most on the airfield map.
What distance are we talking? Mid and short I’ve been fine. Long distances are ridiculous unless the enemy is spotted.
I’ve found myself holding my breath while sniping a lot less compared to previous titles. Just aim and pull.
Only complaint is I still miss spotting. So hard to see campers and at times you have no clue on the kill cam. I just don’t get why you can spot with a scope, and not a scope that’s on a weapon.
I was never a fan of shooting at little markers and instinctually pressing the spot button instead of shooting. It also pretty much squashed any flanking attempts. Spotting is still pevelant. It just isn’t the determining factor in skirmishes now.
Finally played Frontlines outside of Grand Ops. What a noob bash. Even when they last long im tearing people up. I have to get 10 headshots in the obj or 20 in a round for my M1a1 and Seb16 and all my Assault class will be golden. AMA!
Wish I got to play final stand more. I’ve only had the chance to play it twice and once I was black screened and the other time it put me straight into spectator mode.
All my Assault Class weapons are now gold. Not a fan of the shit brown wood coloring. But the gold plate looks sweet.
that sucks. played it at least a dozen times. DICE said something about trying to make 25% of the matches go to FS
That would be nice. I’ve seen people posting how they’ve played for 150+ hours and have rarely made it to final stand. The battle royale mode should fill that void. Real problem is how grand operations make no sense.
Yeah. I can see how people have been missing out on that. But it's not like you want to go to draw. You want to win. final stand takes an insane amount of luck too. It's intense being packed into a telephone booth and told to shoot it out but whatever. People hate how Grand Ops is without battalions and with conquest shoehorned in
