i'm having an issue getting my notifications to show up on my lock screen of my X. just updated to 12.1.1, got out of the Beta program.
I would think you’re best bet is walking into a Verizon store and see if they have any deals. Otherwise, just order them from Apple.
Anyone have experience with quad screen multiviewers? I have a cheap one hooked up to my two cable boxes, my xbox one x, and a firestick. It works fine when in quad view, or other multiple views, but because its all hooked through the quad viewer I do lose a little bit of quality when I am using just one input (which is most common during football season). My two options are to buy a much more expensive multiviewer (like 1500+) or find a way to split my HDMI signals so I can either use the quad viewer or actually use the native input functionality of the TV.
Bought AirPods for my wife for Christmas. She lost my Powerbeats wireless2 and another cheaper pair. These should last forever. Will follow up in a few months. If she can’t lose these, no one will.
She regularly will do like 10 mile runs. Lost my beats after the battery died because they weren’t charged and she put them in her pocket. It’s reassuring to know that find my AirPods but i imagine you still need a WiFi connection.
I imagine she will lose them, they are smaller and wireless, after all. Hopefully when she does lose them they will still have a charge so you can do the find my AirPods thing.
As long as you put them back in the case when not in use you’re about as likely to lose them as keys or a wallet.
I found my AirPods after they were missing for 3 months I’ve been so happy this week since I got them again.
People love them. I am a bose fan boy so I have the sound sport ones and I love mine as an alternative to the airpods, but in following this thread, I haven’t heard a single negative comment on them.
They’re life changing. Not being tethered to a cord is one of the best feelings in the world. Especially since one of the worst is having your earbuds caught up and forcefully yanked out of your ears.
the airpods are fine. apple still insists on making their in-ear buds fit like shit, though. I'm constantly having to readjust them in my ear. if it weren't for that, they'd be awesome. really good sound and great functionality.
Bought an XR through Verizon - what is the consensus best case? Prefer something that slides easily in and out of front pocket - credit card/license holder would be nice - TIA
Everyone loves the air pods because they are completely wireless. Ok. Get it But there are several options out there that are completely wireless. Airpods don’t have the best sound and aren’t noise cancelling nor fit snug in the ear. Is there another function or integration with iPhone that makes them so amazing? Or is everyone just loving the wireless and buy Apple without checking other options
Mine fit perfectly fine in my ear The case is slim and charges the Airpods when not in use Battery life has been tremendous The simple commands of double tapping the individual Airpod to do one of several designated tasks is extremely helpful And it is easy integration with an iPhone (syncing and being able to see battery life right from the phone).
Integration is seamless with iPhone & battery life is second to none... each pod can be use independently further extending the usage time. I use them all day, every day for work & have never had them fall out.
They automatically stop music when you take them out of your ear. They are small enough to fit inside the watch pocket in jeans. You can double tap for Siri. The battery levels are shown in a widget.
I’m considering getting AirPods TBH. I love my plantronics over hear noise cancelling but have been looking for quality earbuds as something more subtle and portable
If you have an issue, like you ran your AirPods through multiple wash cycles, you can bring them to an Apple store where they will replace no questions asked... even if the said AirPods were still fully functional
Because they integrate with the iphone better than any of the other options. They instantaneously pair to your phone when you put the first earbud in. I got them for free, but even then I was skeptical of them because the earbuds that come in the box with the iphone fall out easily and make my ears hurt after wearing them too long...not the case with the airpods. They've never fallen out once and I can wear them to sleep and wake up with no ear pain. The best part about them is the battery life is truly unbelievable for both a true wireless pair of headphones and an apple product to boot and the biggest downside is they aren't available in black, which I imagine is how apple will market the airpods 2 to current airpods owners when they are released
Yeah, I was shocked they still worked. I only carry them in the case now, as they are easily forgotten/overlooked in a pocket otherwise
What are comparable products? Bose has a truly wireless one, don’t they? I had the sport Bose that were Bluetooth but still connect by a wire. Gave those to my GF and got Air Pods and love them.
Bose & Seinheisser both offer quality alternatives. What you gain in sound quality you lose in battery life, compactness, seamless connectivity & the other features mentioned... and they look even worse in ear
AirPods transition seamlessly from phone to MacBook to iPad. Fits my ears great. Makes phone calls so much better as well, use them in car, etc. the case and the way that functions is great as well.
Based off what? The improvement people expected for airpods 2 is the wireless charging case (which only impacted the case, not the pods) and Apple's wireless charging pad is, so far, vaporware.
Do the AirPods have the same fit as the ones that come with new phones? The features sound cool but the wires ones that come with iPhones have a terrible fit for my ears.
