Getting an "oil change," or going for a run and sweating it out and then chugging water, is my preferred method of kicking it. Wallowing in a hangover sucks.
It really does seem to work if you keep your fluid intake high. Yesterday woke up feeling like death. Worst hangover I’ve had in months, if not years. Started up the annual 2 on 2 football game with the cousins, chugged a Gatorade after, ate thanksgiving dinner, and drank a beer and I was good to go
Both. I just signed up for the monthly plan. Currently sitting in a leather recliner in a dark room with an IV in my arm and oxygen in my nose watching Netflix.
I’ll have to look at the menu... They do have Zofran, Toradol, and Pepcid additives, which I’m rolling with at the moment.
A co-worker of mine got a new job so Thursday night he got hammered. Yesterday he looked awful at work and it just got worse as the day wore on. We went for a walk since it was cool outside around 3 only to make it a few blocks before he yacked in some bushes and all over his suit/shoes in the middle of downtown Houston. A fire truck was driving by and pulled over to ask if he needed an ambulance. I could barely breathe I was laughing so hard at the sight of firemen coming to help and had to give the thumbs up and wave the fireman along. We got a beer after and did it all over again at the company Christmas party last night. It’s 65 and sunny and I can’t get off my couch.
Had two glasses of cheap wine with dinner and today is the worst. Didnt even feel buzzed last night so this is bullshit.
I may or may not have fallen down my stairs in a Santa costume last night. My tailbone definitely hurts. I am most certainly not leaving the couch except to get a burger later.
what's the go-to move on New Year's Day? trying to plan my moves ahead of time to maximize a hangover cure and watching football all-day. Spicy thai food almost certainly on the menu
Run. The move is always to run. Then down a pedialyte and a vitamin and take a nap. Bam. You’ll feel like a hundred dollars.
Take hangover pills with your lunch on NYE. Take more right before passing out (put them right next to your bed). Smoke a bowl, chug body armor, ride the bike for 30 mins right when waking up. Shower and eat then nap for an hour.
Doesn't have to be running. Play basketball or something where you sweat your ass off for half an hour (like Houndster said). Nobody actually wants to exercise when they're hungover but working out for at least a half hour will cure all but the absolute worst hangovers. It's a hangover cheat code.
This, with some pedialytw or recoverORS. Low impact cardio like the elliptical or bike that will cause a sweat
But I’m absolutely correct. Obviously need to be hydrated before running but it’s the only thing that’s ever taken me from a 6/10 hangover to feeling normal in a half hour.
