That numbnuts Joe Rogan is low key the highlight of the segment...he’s like “Holy shit that’s groundbreaking”
So let me get this straight. He’s trying to blame apple cider for getting stumped in an interview because it made him paranoid?
Huh? He has a guest on he's not going to just laugh at how ridiculous he sounds. People can be allergic to sulfites but I'm not buying his panic attack from them
Yea I’m aware that Joe Rogan is not going to challenge a guest for spouting ludicrous conspiracies...that’s why he’s a numbnuts in the first place
You're goddamn right. I didn't listen to this podcast. I'm still lost as to why Jordan Peterson is so popular. So I have no idea how he was treated
You have to have shit for brains to be swayed by Jordan Peterson. Fast talking intellectuals are the new opiate for the masses. It's hilarious how many morons who question religion fall for folks like Peterson. He's just feeding them a different version of the same game.
I can’t wait until he rules on the divinity of Jesus. It’s so obvious what he’s going to say, but I’m so excited for his brilliance on the matter to be unironically lauded.
It was amazing how, for me, Rogan went from being a guy who occasionally talked about stuff he knew nothing about, but was bearable, to being someone that I can’t listen to at all. I’ll see if he has a comedian or actor I like, but never anything political. I stopped listening to him for about 2 years and when I downloaded him again he was almost insufferable.
The Twitter thread? Some of it; there were a lot of comments. From what I understand Harris had Picciolini on his podcast and there was some controversy over stuff Harris edited, and some references to a private conversation Picciolini had with Harris that made him think he was in that cabal. It's odd that he would call them (Harris and Peterson) subversive white nationalists and then almost immediately say "to clarify, I'm not calling them white nationalists".
I mean, he absolutely does. He says that open white nationalists like Richard Spencer and David Duke aren't as bad as "those who hide their intentions" like Molyneux (who I would argue doesn't even really hide them), Peterson or Harris. What "intentions" are he referring to? Are you standing on the ground that the word "those" doesn't connotate white nationalists?
literally the next tweet (IN MY POST) creates a carve out for them not being white nationalists and just being intellectually vacant panderers doing the gateway work for the Molyneux and further down the rabbit hole crew
A clarification made 20 minutes later doesn’t completely negate what was originally said. In either case, his second post still assigns designs of racism to both in its use of “knowingly” and “by design”. He’s quite bluntly ascribing racist intentions to both, whether he wants to openly label them white nationalists or not.
he posts receipts in his feed Harris routinely props up pseudo science and gives platforms to people trying to put forward intellectually vacuous positions (Charles Murray just one example) you can put a veneer of science over justification for bigotry and racism, it's been done routinely throughout history with tenuous data to support some wildly hurtful shit. that context is important but its indisputable that his schtick is the doorway for people who move on to other vitriolic racists and beat the table over IQ disparities, "certain races are better at certain things", "races do better separate", type rhetoric that is the exact same rhetoric used throughout history to justify everything from political policy violence/oppression to outright genocide.
Social hierarchies and inequality are necessary human conditions because Jupiter is bigger than Mercury.
I recently saw a clip of Peterson in his class room before he got famous. He was trying to make the argument that Hitler wasnt necessarily evil, but the extermination of the jews was just the natural progression of his OCD. Unreal.
