Just got done watching the game today. That was super boring to watch. Getting a point against Boro is ok, stayed top of the table. Obviously would've preferred getting a goal in there at some point though.
Back to back games with super late winners? I'm ok with this. Today's with 2 goals in stoppage was insane though. 7 straight wins now, pumped to see how they continue going into the new year.
Another win today, Roofe continuing to tear it up. Still expecting a late collapse on the season because I am not getting my hopes up just yet.
Yeah, this spygate stuff doesn't look good for him, even if it is super common in South America. Oh well. Glad I was still expecting a late collapse to not get promoted, at least now I'm not upset at this all unfolding. Just laughing and disappointed.
Went and watched the last episode of Take Us Home tonight after the news. Just watching the reactions of Phillips, Ayling, Alioski and Cooper at the end of that Derby game gives me all the feels today. Been playing that damn version of Marching on Together all day too but I am fucking pumped.
I’m super biased but I loved it. Found myself thinking there was no way we don’t go up as the episodes were happening (even knowing the result). That last episode was a tough watch for me. Can’t wait to see the new season. I was trying to consume as many soccer docs after that and Sunderland Till I die which is also great.
I could only find the dubbed one and didn’t want to watch it. Will look for the German version for sure.
Did some more digging on a possible second season of Take Us Home. They were filming at the beginning of the season but they haven’t seen the cameras much lately until the last few matches. Nothing has been confirmed but I would assume that with promotion and more popularity they will probably release something. Something else I read is that this season did not have as many story lines as last and it could be boring to show Leeds just winning a lot.
It's going to be weird watching one that isn't fraught with heartbreak and depression like the two Sunderland seasons and the first Leeds one. Welcome back, fellas.
A lot of changes this morning. Thought Tyler Roberts played well and was happy to see Shackleton score.
Let the transfer rumors begin. Cavani and Ibra are the biggest names linked to Leeds in the papers today.
Match is on espn + hope they show trophy presentation although LUTV said they would also show it for free 1-0 early with a ridiculous finish from Ben White
A rout! 4-0 great goal by Schackletonl, insane pass to swing Poveda loose and great cutback and finish. 3 youngsters combined for the last goal.
Going to miss Ben White. Orta and Bielsa are going to have to pull a darn rabbit out of the hat to replace him. Ibra is a dumb rumor. Guy would never play for Bielsa considering he would not do the work required. Cavani would fit in well considering how many chances he squander like Bamford.
Hope he says he wants to come back and pony up the 20-30 million for him. Transfers rumors are just hilarious. Anyone with a pulse is being linked to us and I am not sure there is going to be that much money available.
Jack Harrison renewed loan for another season. Also signed a striker from Wigan and young defender from Linfield.
Linfield player was an attacker too in Charlie Allen. Supposedly signing a young goalkeeper from Ajax and the defender Cody Drammeh from Fulham. But that seems to just be the youth recruitment. Still waiting for these 4-5 signings for the 1st team.
Outside of White handing in a transfer request it seems like Brighton is digging their heals in. He has rejected 2 deals from them and they have rejected 2 bids from us. I think he is a good player for sure but seems like 25 million could be spent elsewhere to upgrade.
