Well they should do an X-men film and a fantastic four film. Incorporate that with maybe some other avengers that are established in their specialty movies... like they did with hulk in ragnarok. Then combine them into the next avengers movie. That’s what they will do. At least they should.
MCU is about to undergo a major overhaul I think this is the perfect time to introduce new characters and shift the focus of the overarching story.
And how do you properly introduce the X-Men in the current MCU timeline? They were formed after YEARS of mutants being present in society and tensions building. Hell, to have a proper Magneto, you’d have to have them around since the Holocaust. Unless they completely reboot the entire MCU after A4, the X-Men, and the history which makes them great, simply isn’t possible. FF is a little easier, assuming they are willing to abandon the “First Family” thing. Also, I don’t want them to sacrifice the story in A4 just so they have a way to bring in the Fox properties.
I think you are getting too tied up in the semantics of everything from the comics. The MCU is based off the comics but a lot of it is different. I think Kevin knows what he is doing and will incorporate it appropriately. I agree those are tough object to overcome but I think a certain amount of twisting the storyline to fit the narrative and still have somewhat semblance to the comics is all that is needed.
As long as I get some Deadpool/Spidey and a decent Dr. Doom, the MCU has so much goodwill in my bank I don’t care what else we get
I’ve been screaming since the merger was announced, if they do combine universes, Doom is the perfect Big Bad for Phase 4. Considering he was Strange’s #1 competitor for the role of Sorceror Supreme in the comics, Dr. Strange 2 would be a great place to do a Thanos like after credits introduction to his character in the MCU.

Without any stone, it'd be a good battle. But...no other being has ever had the might, nay the nobility, to wield not one but two Infinity Stones. Let alone all five.
Into the Spider-Verse was outstanding, so well done. My nine year old and I spent the drive home talking about how much we liked it.
Also: Spoiler I thought the post credit was hilarious. Several of the older guys who stuck around did not share my opinion.
Just give me Jaime Lannister as either Magneto or Dr. Doom and I'll die of happiness. Also Emilia Clarke for Sue Storm.
Tricky thing that makes bringing the X-Men universe to bring to the MCU is that Fox has casted insanely well. I trust Feige as much as we all do, but bringing Jackman or Fassbender to the MCU and you’ll still be reminded of a different universe...
Like I said, Jaime Lannister as Doom or Magneto. Its like casting Bryan Cranston as Lex Luthor, except only DC was too retarded to do it.
I feel like the actor who plays Jaime, whose name I’m not going to attempt to spell, is beneath the level (or multiple levels) the MCU will go for a character like Doom or Magneto.
Coster-Waldau is a fine actor but there’s a flat out evil needed for Doom and don’t think he can quite portray it. Feige would likely find a guy out of nowhere to portray it and they don’t necessarily pay newer actors a lot, but if they want to start a bang with F4, you throw at least $25 million at Christian Bale. Then work the way down to the likes of Fassbender (if he isn’t Magneto in the MCU) Rami Malek, etc. Noah Hawley’s Doom script has reportedly received rave reviews. I hope Feige picks it up.
Somehow the A4 credit scene shows the awakening of Galactus after a long slumber. He then finally appears in A7. Silver Surfer is the one who finally alerts the 9 realms of his coming.
Give me Doom. Honestly, Galactus is a lame character, IMO. I’ve never been a fan. Doom has much more relatable motivations and they will be able to make him into a great villain, similar to Thanos.
Would love phase 2s big bad being Doom (possibly even wearing the gauntlet himself). I think it’ll mostly focus on the Kerr-Skrull war/secret invasion. I really want a Kang storyline/phase and some Illuminati movies as well.
Doom is far superior to Galactus as a character, but when we’re dealing with an accumulation of multiple movies, you need a big bad villain on a scale that is beyond anyone else. Someone that eats planets is one. And I would trust Feige to actually make Galactus interesting. When you go with Thanos (with multiple infinity stones) as the ultimate bad guy in a universe, it’s hard to imagine the Avengers struggling with Doom. Thanos would wipe his ass of Doom even without a single stone.
Thor: Because for years, the reality stone has been safely stored there with a man, we call the Collector. Peter Quill: If it’s with the collector, then it’s not safe. Only an idiot would give that man a stone. Thor: Or a genius.
Watched IW last night. Shits still good. I found myself just wanting to know what Thor was doing though.
You mean like he was so interesting you wanted the movie to get back to him, or did you not understand something?
That account has some really cool art on it. Also, I just realized I need a nanotechnology suit/shield for Cap.
That's what Ragnarok is for. But, obviously Endgame will focus more on the originals and it's rumored to be 3 hours. So we should get plenty of Thor, Cap, Stark, etc. in the movie.
Like I've been saying for 5 years: Give me Onslaught as the next "culmination" big bad now that F4 and X-Men are back in the fold. Take the next 10 years to set it up, I don't care.
I am worried that it's going to get cancelled 15 minutes into the season premiere. Just a sudden cut to black.
Maybe I’m a bad parent here..... but I was thinking about taking my 3.5 y/o to spiderverse. It’s PG and she watches all kinds of action cartoons and doesn’t spook easily. I don’t know anyone that’s seen it, is it too intense for that age?
Took my 4 year old and she loved it. If you watch stuff with her a lot and she has been exposed even accidentally to more mature stuff she will be more than fine.
She’s seen the commercials and asked about it a lot. I mean it’s only her whole life I could ruin. What could go wrong? Thanks
There’s a couple of what I would call intense scenes but there’s cutaways so as to keep it PG Some little shit head next to me wanted to leave about an hour in. I hope his parents dropped him off at the nearest adoption agency. Snot nosed brat.
