That time when devine liked a post from 2 weeks ago and then called the same advice the worst advice he'd ever seen. Can we trust anything he posts? #flipflopper
I know. Does not change my advice. 9/10 or 10/10 hangover isn't getting fixed through exercise though. Prob drop it down to a 4/5 and cut a half day off of it but it'll still hurt after. It just won't extend to the next day.
I like to hit that drunk sweetspot. sort of how you start to get after the first few sips of a real drink. but then you try to re-create that feel so you just drink more. /chasing the dragon
This is my routine in this instance. Wake up at like 5 am to take a piss/shit because my body hates me and God is punishing me for mistakes (actually now it's usually several times throughout the night because 30's). Chug water. Feel like I will puke up water. Force myself back to sleep without puking. Wake up again at 7 or 8. Put on workout clothes. Take a vitamin with a big glass of water or a gatorade. Leave immediately. Usually feel like I have a full stomach and need to yack but once I start running my puke urge goes away completely. Pain from the hangover goes away completely and in lieu of that pain is the running pain. Hangover pain never comes back unless it's just an awful awful hangover.
I'm going to try the pre-emptive approach this year and chug a pint glass or two of water every hour whilst partying
I'll never understand why people pretend that greasy food helps a hangover. Think said people just get confused by the hungover fast food craving, which is real, and are too confused to realize they're confused. Gonna eat some eggs in a bit when I decide to get out of bed.
This is the first New Year’s Day I haven’t woken up with a hangover in I don’t know how long - feels kinda weird tbh.
Not feeling too bad from marathon drinking in NOLA yesterday. Time to grab a Bloody Mary before the real thing hits. Edit: I will not be running to get it either.
If you’re bitching about a hangover and it’s just a headache you’re a pussy. Running is to cure the nausea.
Haven’t had a drink in 17 days which is probably the longest stretch I’ve gone in ten years. Everyday life is extra boring, but I feel great (and bored and 7lbs lighter)!
I drank water, took some advil, and ate leftover fajita when I woke up. Hangover cured by 8am, no half marathon necessary.
I was. About the same before this little weekend getaway. I sleep so much better when I’m sober, a couple beers and I’m tossing all night.
You’re telling hungover fatties to go for a run. You’re not going to win this argument. That said I agree with you about working out.
Has anyone tried any of the hangover pills? Browsing amazon, I'm obviously intrigued but skeptical as to how effective they are.
