Random side note for you all, but when I was in Bandon in November I noticed they were already moving dirt on the sheep's ranch for a 5th course. That thing is going to have one of the most dramatic ocean side greens ever.
Ya I would hate to see my 6th guy way outperform my 5th guy. What are the payouts? I think top 3 should get paid with 18 guys.
So a 50/30/20 payout would look as such: 1st: $98 2nd: $59 3rd: $39 I think paying out 3 spots would keep more people engaged throughout the entire season.
I’m heading down for a golf trip that wknd. My pro is going and getting some extras to the Travis Mathew party. Supposed to be a good time. Playing the Reunion Resort courses. No idea how those are
I read it was Gil Hanse who did the course for the olympics among others. Forgot to ask my caddie though.
For reference, these is more Oceanside real estate on the sheep's ranch than Pacific and Bandon courses combined. When not on mobile I’ll post some pics.
Just watched the video. The triple alignment ball thing is the type of gimmick you see on infomercials
I like the way the TM stuff looks. I need a full bag fitting at this point. I still am carrying my Nike Victory Red forged split cavity's that have to be 10 years old. My bag is a mishmash. PingG30 driver, M3 5 wood, TM rescue 2h, vic red 3,5-Pw, and 3 different Cleveland wedges (52,56,60).
Apparently it is now fully within the rules to kneel down on both knees and then drop from an inch from the ground because you’re still “knee height”.
Might have to take out my gap and lob wedges so I can bag the Flash, M5, and G410 all at the same time.
Going to be in LA for a few days for super bowl weekend. I will be playing 1-2 rounds, will putt with pins in and see how I like it.
The Epic Flash is butt ugly. Looks like some cheap pos you would buy at Wal Mart. I know it doesn't matter but for that kind of money its tough to look at.
All of the new drivers look cheap as hell. And per YouTube reviews, they’re no improvement over last years.
