Would be interesting if there was a list out there of who has deals coming up. You know who AEW could really use is Kevin Owens. There's a guy that can be at the top of the card as a heel but for whatever reason, Vince just gave up on him.
When was the last time he was in a meaningful program? What was the last meaningful feud he won? The guy was Universal Champion at one point.
Theres a maximum of like 3 meaningful programs at once in WWE, usually less. I don't think that's a good barometer.
The devote a ton of time to KO. He just worked a Mania program with Shane/Vince. He's worked Braun this year. We may not (and I don't) like they he isn't champ or "winning" but WWE hasn't given up on him in the slightest. WWE has given up on guys like Zack Ryder and those types you never see on RAW.
His job was to put over Braun... Braun as a babyface was doing corny shit like tipping over a toilet because Vince finds that funny.
Show went to total shit after the Hogan/Gene segment. Terrible tag title match with another lame finish where the heels got screwed by the baby faces. They made Braun stall for time in a promo with Brock till they hit halftime of the natty. Then Brock walks down to the ring. Circles it and walks away. Sasha got handed a title match based on nothing. Nia interrupted the segment by screaming on the mic again. They had a match and Nia had at minimum three botches Rollins and Ambrose was good till Bobby. Another shit RAW.
Nia Jax is the fucking worst and RAW is fucking terrible, still. 300.5 ounces what the fuck Smackdown is their saving grace and the formula is going to be fucked with by the end of the year when they change Networks. It's gonna be weird when Raw is dog shit writing for 3 hours while Smackdown is 2 hours of mostly wrestling.
Yeah there is nothing fresh for Omega in AEW. Sure, WWE will squander him, but at least he will get to work with new people.
Kenny's motivations I think are very different. Sure, the money is great and all, and he's going to be a multi-millionaire at the end of the day no matter what he does. He get's off on the creativity side, I think. That, and the freedom to do what he wants, almost unencumbered. I dig it.

Correct and imho he needed a WWE. AJ came to WWE at 38 he's now 41 and clearly slowing down in ring. I rather not see Omega in WWE at 38-40 and hope he would jump now in his prime.
I'm 100% with you. This is his chance. Chance to cash in, chance to be the biggest star in wrestling. Would be a shame for him to not give it a shot. Hell sign a 3 year deal, if it doesn't go well you can go to AEW or back to Japan while you still have a little gas in the tank. If WWE makes him a star and then he walks to AEW, what could be better for them than that?
I'm with you on this. I have no doubt in my mind that Vince would make Omega the #1 guy in the company or give him every chance to nail that down.
Bankz, not to nitpick... But is the women's RR $20 or $30 buy-in? Because the listed $20 does not match the payout structure. Thanks and I'll hang up and listen.
Think it's pretty dismissive to look at it this way if he does choose AEW when his outward motivations seem to be more about promoting change in the industry rather than being "the king of whatever."
Wish there was a place to see wrestlers current contracts like you can with professional athletes. Would love to know who's deals are coming up. Remember hearing AJ and Naka signed 3 year deals, wonder if that is standard.
Rally was good PAC Joey Janella and Penelope Ford MJF Jericho Working with this bonkers promotion in China called OWE All In 2 is May 25 in Vegas
Would you guys go to the Go Home Smackdown before Mania or go to a Smackdown + RAW super house show the Sunday before Mania? Both shows go on pre sale tomorrow and I’m going to get tickets to one of them.
