This is an awesome concept !! Great for downtown’s on-going revival. That Sportsbook will be a big draw.
Ignore previous post. $120 all you can drink all day at AmeriCAN at the linq promenade on Friday. Thursday looks to already be sold out
Might be worth a call to see if they have changed it around. That might explain the big fee increase. Spoiler but it’s probably the general Vegas attempt to squeeze the visitor dry
Yeah, not the sportsbook part but the theatre. Free so that’s nice. Never had an issue finding a seat
we have stayed there the last 3 times in Vegas because they comp my friend. The sportsbook is nice. Tables suck.
Anyone have any recs for affordable booths for March madness? Places we have called so far are asking for $400-1500 per person. We don’t care if it’s off the strip, but we’re not trying to spend 3k plus.
No, they don’t serve you waitresses. There are billboard trucks on Las Vegas Blvd. with phone numbers you can call to get one though.
Booths on the Strip and downtown are going to cost big bucks. Period. You might call TopGolf to inquire about their offerings, 702.933.8458. Their website doesn’t seem to have details yet. The more upscale off-strip places to consider are Southpointe, The M, Green Valley Ranch and Red Rock. Also as MM get’s closer check out the Hakkasan website for events at their clubs and restaurants.
I won like $1000 on the craps table one night there. Walked to the roulette wheel and put it all on red. It hit. Did it again. It hits again. Did it one more time and bang! Will never forget that night.....or the following night where I lost it on a 3 game parlay by 1 point. Fun.
Headed to Vegas early next month. I'm looking around for a decent value hotel and I get some pretty solid discounts from my work. Right now I'm looking at Rio for $52 a night. Any thoughts?
Excalibur will do in a pinch as well. Mandalay Bay has had some good sales, been a tough year for them.
Don't stay at the Rio. Harrah's, Linq, Flamingo and Bally's are your choices in a similar price range. Luxor/Mandalay/Excal location sucks imo.
It’s much better now with all the stuff around TMobile. Last time I stayed at Four Seasons I was pleasantly surprised.
How much? Did you call the box office? Did they mention where that actually gets you in terms of seating?
Yeah just call. $35 a ticket for theater seating. You also get to pick your seats. Middle section is for the high rollers lol but we got aisle seats. This assigned seat allows you to come and go as you please. To me that’s worth the $35
Aisle seats are worth it IMO. I love the Westgate setup but it's cramped. Aisles mean you get to beer lines quicker than most. Good job.
Yes thursday Friday are the busiest days. Once the weekend arrives, there are fewer games, people going home and people in general just getting bored.
I'd recommend Westgate reserved Thursday, go to South Point, GVR, or Red Rock at 8am Friday, then play by ear on strip Sat and Sunday. Maybe a small reservation at Legasse. Sunday at Westgate will be dead.
And it must be said get an app for betting. William hill is the best but hardest to get. But then you can bet and not have to be near a book or wait in line if you are at one.
Does that include the resort fee? If not the fee and taxes are going to run the cost up to $100/night. I haven’t heard great things about Rio, but I’ve never stayed there. It’s an inexpensive Uber to the Strip, so that’s a good thing.
Typically what we do. Try to go somewhere that is outside or has a patio. Need fresh air by Saturday. Went to beerhaus two years ago when it was warmer son Saturday. Played cornhole, ping pong, and foosball outside while watching the games. Not bad.
Yeah definitely go free route Saturday. At most two games at a time and then only a half game overlap
Not sure if anyone went to Omnia Friday but the following happened and it was probably the most ridiculous nightclub shenanigans I've ever seen: CES is in town so a lot of the tech guys typically go pretty hard. A customer/company exec went into the weekend with the goal of spending 10 million They removed/covered the entire center dance floor table section of Omnia with staging for his table His table consisted of a throne, a gigantic ball pit with an american gladiator style jousting setup, an kids pool size bottle bucket with a keg in the middle. They rolled out a 6 foot tall statue of a rat while the dj announced "all bottle rats follow to section a" Easily spent 1 million that night.
Honestly was pretty upset with myself that I never thought of the ballpit idea - literally every hot girl in the club was b-lining for that.
