CHD is one of the few womens podcasts that is so directly and aggressively about sex. Some guys will not like it and will be intimidated by it somewhat and call them whores or whatever. I believe the point some on here and what Big Cat is getting at is how long does that last? You're not going to survive long term doing their same podcast they'll have to evolve because people are going to get tired of it just like after a few years a lot of us are tired of the PFT character on PMT. Big Cat has a legitimate point that in 5 years what's your plan? It doesn't seem like they really have one right now. They seem to be a one trick pony.
My problem with CHD isn’t really the specific content but how fake it all sounds. Their podcast sounds super spliced together like they have tried 100x to say everything in the most over the top way. I personally enjoy podcasts that sound like real conversations, they could talk about the same stuff and it would be more appealing if it sounded more authentic.
I love Big Cat, and have followed him since before he worked for Barstool. Hell, he's the reason I started following Barstool. Still, I feel like his criticism of the CHD girls is more about him personally not liking them than anything else. I think it bugs him that they don't "get it" and, probably, that they don't kiss his ass like everyone else seems to do. It probably also bugs him that they don't put in close to the same work that he does and have produced a product that is getting compared to his. Of course, I say all this without ever having listened to their show and only catching them on the radio.
That's probably part of it. I've listened to very little of their product but they seem to have a very cocky vibe to them, which probably rubs him the wrong way.
Yeah, I did not see their shtick working but obviously it has an audience. I also don't think it matters if the podcast doesn't last 5 years bc they run out of content. If you can be successful for any amount of time while branching out to something that is not traditional barstool I think it's a victory. Their podcast isn't for me but BS needs to keep trying alternative things.

I enjoyed the comment section being extremely upset but I think this is the best possible outcome. Barstool now makes money off of it and if you want to be a racists piece of garbage, you're going to get outed.
Meh don’t like the idea of starting to out people. I don’t really have a problem with it but could see some more thin skinned employees start outing people over stuff that doesn’t deserve it.

Yes. You’re underestimating how many people click on Glenny Nate liz etc blogs just to scroll to the comments.
in what capacity does Glenny still work at Barstool? I'm sure the Burger Blogs take up MOST OF HIS DAY. But they used to use him for stuff. Thank god they don't but just wondering how he is still employed there if he doesn't do radio/podcasts/tons of blogs
