I was excited when it was rumored that Bielsa could be our coach. Then we didn’t want to pay him or something. Hopefully I don’t regret that decision today.
Olsson too willing to concede the end line. That was going to come back and bite us eventually. Otherwise generally a good half. Rodon showing that Ash Williams willingness to bring the ball forward from the back. That Roberts/Naughton combo on the right might be lacking the speed we need there.
Really good half. Solid passing, good possession and a strong back line. Enjoying watching us frustrate Leeds as much as we did that first half but unfortunate to concede when we did. Feels like a match where we will see Montero come on and challenge the youngster for Leeds.
I find myself struggling to say this, but I don’t think that that second goal happens if Fer was in there.
It was a good game but it feels like a loss only getting a point there. Compare that to the game last Friday where it felt like an absolute theft to get out of there with a point.
Yeah really feel like the Hernandez goal could have been avoided for sure. Tough pill to swallow but I actually expected Leeds to come in and make us look poor after the showing at Birmingham.
Celina looked good except for that throw in to nobody that had to be called back because it was also an illegal throw in. But damn, not finishing that late chance hurt.
Mobster 3 points there. To play the entire game down a man and come back and win it is incredible. Both goals were made by Montero. He needs to see more game time.
Frustrating goalless draw. Poor job of breaking the pressure. Lots of bad passes. Dhanda seemed flat footed a lot. Celina getting injured sucks. Fulton looked like a mummy out there with all his bandages.
It was always going to be difficult with so many injuries, but that goal was bullshit. Allen was so clearly offsides in two passes that lead to his goal. Terrible terrible terrible officiating.
Nice to get back to winning. Wasn’t able to find a stream. Hopefully the whole game gets posted. A 3-0 win is great. When we are healthy, we might actually be pretty good.
Two wins in a row. It sucks not being able to watch these games live, but at least the full matches are getting put up on the app.
Back with 3 more points. Sounds like the second half was mostly in Bolton’s favor but we held on for the clean sheet. Good job Mulder. Also Jeff came back on as a late sub. Should be a good watch when it goes up on the site.
Today's the return of Bony. Either garnering some transfer interest or seeing g what the guys got left in the tank.
Big win against Sheffield United. Put us at 9th and 6 points away from 6th. However CCV is a liability. Hopefully Rodon is okay.
Struggled so much at home in the first half of the season. Hopefully this is a sign things are turning around.
What a final day to the window. First everyone's gone then it's just Wilf, Carroll and Montero. Lol The Daniel James Leeds drama is fantastic and thankful for whoever pulled the plug at the last minute.
Yeah a wild but if business at the close. I love all of the guys that left. I miss them already. But the youth movement wins out hopefully we can’t atart stacking up some wins and get back in the playoff hunt.
Good afternoon, I come in peace. I will be in Europe 3/11-3/22 and in London specifically 3/16 so hoping this is Saturday and not Sunday so I can make the trip. Any of you been to Liberty Stadium? How’s the trip from London?
Have my train tickets booked and have a request in for tickets. Taffy any chance you’ll be there? Maybe we can grab a pint
I’ll be mostly in London/Rome 3/11-3/22 but headed up to Manchester for City/Schalke and coming to Swansea for the FA Cup QF on 3/16
Enjoy your time on Wind St. Pro Tip: it's wind as in wind you up and not a gust of air. Second go to Rossis and get the fish and chips Third don't forget a jacket as you may need to cover your shitty city colors to get into away friendly pubs. Harvester near the Liberty I imagine will be full of City supporters. Lastly enjoy the beauty of the Welsh Monaco and enjoy your trip back after a shocking defeat.
Probably wear my Columbus Crew or USA jacket though if I get tickets through City I’d be in the away section
This is so close but so wrong. It's known as Wine Street, because everyone goes there to get pissed on the weekend. I didn't even know that it was actually called Wind Street until about 10 years ago. Rossis fish & chips is good. Are you spending too much time on SCFC forums or something? When are you coming over?
Was planning on coming over in April as of last year but having a newborn I've put it on hold. With social media and Swansea not being a massive club I've met so many other supporters from the being a part of the trust and other groups that I've just learned a ton about the area. Honestly it's one of the best things about supporting Swansea is even though I've yet to get there, I know so much about Swansea and the surrounding areas and can actually feel a part of the community in a way because we aren't a massive club.
Oh and the Rossi's thing has picked up as a joke over time because during the transfer windows someone always sees a new signing or possible new signing leaving Rossi's with Lee Trundle and/or Leon Britton.
Tickets confirmed. I'll try to get some good pics and post them here. Looking forward to experiencing this
