Sounds like Schar is the replacement for Mbemba, which honestly sounds like an upgrade. Also appears Yoshi Muto from Mainz is going to be our striker signing.
Peter Kenyon reportedly working on takeover with financial investors. #Chelsea or #Manchester United anything you can tell us about him?
Sky News’ Sources in the city tell us former Man United & Chelsea CEO Peter Kenyon has held preliminary talks with Mike Ashley over a takeover. He is working with US-based firm Rockefeller Capital Management.
He plays the game. He’s not the money behind it though so it will depend on who is funding it and how ambitious they are. I can’t imagine it won’t be a good thing for you guys if it happens though
Yeah I mean it could be worse but the likelihood of a new owner being worse than Ashley has to be pretty small. With Everton now under new ownership I would have to think that Newcastle is the top club available outside of London and top club in that middle tier of value that is worth buying. Chelsea and Tottenham may or may not be available but those will be in a different value tier.
Woah. This came out of nowhere, and I figured there was no chance we'd give him a new deal. Wonder if he's confident in Rafa staying?
Again, I’m staying skeptical until I see a new owner holding a scarf and making a statement, but there seems to be a whole lot of talk that this could be real and it could be Peter Kenyon leading the way. He’s apparently been granted access to the data room/accounts.
Most of us have accepted that he is moving to Europe after this season. If we get two great years out of him, an MLS Cup and double our investment, I think that's a pretty good return.
I think $20m is a fair price. Will always be a huge fan of his. Newcastle will make a ton more if Miggy ever gains confidence in his Right foot.
Looks like Rafa may be playing a little hard ball https://www.telegraph.co.uk/footbal...-leave-newcastle-summer-unless-club-sign-new/
Yea it’s basically the line in the sand for Rafa and a good chunk of supporters. If we survive and let Rafa leave, it will be very interesting times at the club.
well as an outside observer who's only really learned about your shitty owner due to the Miggy rumors, I'll be rooting for ya
Minus the first :30 I’m pretty happy with how the team played. Would love to get the next goal but don’t see it playing that way
