Played til 1am last night Finished the main thrust of the story, fantastic ending and worth going through a bit of the slow parts Almost done with epilogue II (I think), some good nostalgia bombs Spoiler Jerusalem house building mission was great Stopped when Abigail and Jack showed up at Beecher’s Hope, I assume not much longer to go
I personally agree but before this it was the original RDR. It's just a better series than GTA for me personally.
Fighting my way through the burning tobacco fields at night while that music ramped up was quite a treat for the senses
Spoiler On my 3rd play through. Yes, I said 3rd. Just did the stranger mission in Chapter 3 where you go collect some items for an old drunk in Rhodes and find out that he was a former runaway slave hunter. I also just discovered that you get good honor points for putting a bullet in his dome after the mission. God I love this game.
Scene in town with the grays had me fucked up. Shit was like the elevator scene in the departed. Scene walking up to braithwaite manor after was sexy af. If I’ve got anything to say about this game so far it’s that it’s a very cinematic experience.
i believe when i shot the kkk leader it gave me +honor but when eugenics boy is spouting off and i blow him away i get a wanted level and everyone hates me. SCREW YOU NOLA!
Also wanted to say how fucking annoying it is you can't complete the fishing and hunting challenges and can't craft everything until after the finish of the main story. I don't need the legend of the east bag when there's like 5% of the game left.
i just blasted him at his table in the street. probably a bad call but didn't think anyone would care. forgot it was 1899.
Didn't realize if you throw someone into shallow water, they'll struggle to keep their head above water.
One thing I'll say about Dutch Spoiler He was right to kill both Angelo Bronte and Cornwall. Sure maybe Arthur was right that they should lay low and going after Cornwall was silly but icing Bronte....absolutely the right move
You can complete all of the satchels before then. I got obsessed and finished all of mine in chapter 2.
There is a legendary cougar that isn't available until later in the game but regular ones are around. Iguanas can be found on the island west of your campsite in Rhodes.
Tell me about. It took me forever to get them all. I looked online and found the spots they spawn at but they were barely ever there.
Just wait until you try to kill 5 cougars with arrows. There's one good spot where you can reliably find them in the morning, I probably spent about 6 hours riding back and forth on this spot just waiting to hear that cougar howl so I could hit dead eye real quick and hit them with an arrow before they ate me.
Yeah, that was a tough one. But if you use the big game arrows it's not bad. I would ride back and forth on the trail and wait for the cougar to attack me, then use dead eye and as long as it was a headshot it would kill them. The final hunting challenge with the legendary panther was tricky.
That was definitely the challenge that gave me the most trouble. My problem was I tried to go too fast.
Same here but only because everyone I went against seem to be pros finishing like 6 times each round and my ass was only getting 3.
I’m about 2 hours in hunting for perfect beaver pelts and still haven’t caught one. Fuckers keep swimming out to the middle of the lake if I get close. Am I doing something wrong?
Use your binoculars to spot them before approaching. Also if you open the map and follow the river a little bit south of Lake Owanjila, there are these two strips of land in the middle of the river. Was also hunting for a beaver pelt today and there were like 5-6 of them around that area. No open water for them to swim to either.
anyone been to ft riggs? find the document titled "english spelling test" and string together the first letters of each word
I have no idea what it means but here: Spoiler Waziya comes with winter breath. His trees stand guard whispering all night that we sleep in our grave. Father fought and died so quickly. Mother dies slow.
There's usually about 3 of them waiting on the southwest side of the lake on a little enbankment right where the map starts to get skinny and the lake approaches the outer edge of the playable area. Put on some cover scent and sneak up the side of the hill over the rocks and shoot down at them with the varmint rifle in red eye so you can shoot them all before they get in the water.
For the life of me I can't find a damn moose in this game. Looked up all the places they should be and went to each one multiple times and still have yet to even see one.
The only moose I've seen in this game is the legendary one, and of course I sold the antlers before deciding I was going to fully outfit the camp.
