I agree, they need to find a Murray. Average goalie that sucks all the time and plays 40 games a year but gets lucky in the playoffs. The problem is that you also need a guy like fleury to win the tough games and I don’t think sj has that.
Lack of a #1C, lack of a #1C on the second line, defensive defense is suspect outside of Gio, terrible goaltending, minimum playoff experience.

No way on Krejci and Pavelski at this point in their careers tbh. Pavelski is riding a shooting streak 9% above his career average at 34, and they still have the same goal totals. (And Monahan still has 16 more points)

I'm talking about how good they are, right now. There isn't a team in hockey that takes either of those 2 over Monahan in 2019, playoffs or preseason game.

Did you just see him destroy shooters. He was eating them alive. Vasilevsky is the best goaltender I have seen in the last ten years. He is better than price ever was. He is big, athletic, quick, smart, composed and incredibly flexible for such a big guy. Never seen anything like him
