I was hoping it would be released this month. September and on is already pretty packed. Needed something to get through the rest of the summer.
if you like pretty colors, silly names, and hit boxes the size of the traveler you can always play overwatch
1 and infinite are as good as you think tlou is. You owe it to yourself to at least play the original. You can decide on infinite after. Play 2 last.
I love all of them. 2 is really good. But the first Bioshock is my GOAT game. I've played all of these a lot.... but still might pick up... just cuz. Also, they are making a new one. No Levine, obviously.
I haven't played Bioshock in forever and am anxious to play it remastered. Really one of the first games that really, truly wowed me and will always be one of my top 2 or 3 games. I'm excited for people who started with infinite to experience the original. I think that those who started with infinite can't grasp the concept that the original could possibly be better but I'm a firm believer that it is.
OG BioShock was so incredible. Just an unreal environment that kept me on the edge of my seat Infinite was awesome too but didn't have that same sense of impending doom that was always present in 1 Never played 2
I wish Ken Levine would make more games other than fire a bunch of people, has he done anything since Infinite?
He's working on a new game rn with the old irrational studio renamed Ghost Story Games. I read an interview not so long ago that he was taking inspiration from games like Borderlands and Dark Souls with the new IP. So, I'm excited
If Levine and Ghost Story don’t make it then I’ll preemptively turn it down. Bioshock 2 was a very pedestrian experience and I don’t go to Bioshock for pedestrian experiences, I go to Bioshock expecting to play a masterpiece. So yeah, I’m not interested
Unless ofc, that top secret studio is Ghost Story and this is the game they’ve been working on for the past 3 years. But I doubt that’s the case
My point is that my expectations for the series is astronomical and anything less than mind blowing at this point would be a disappointment. I trust Levine and the team behind 1 & 3. I would rather not risk being disappointed so wrt this news, I’m not excited. Not to say it’s not noteworthy news and that it could be an amazing game, I just remain skeptical until proven otherwise
https://screenrant.com/bioshock-new-game-rumors-2020-release-date/ 2020 game rumored. Announced at E3 in June
My favorite collection of games hands down. I’ve played through 3 or 4 times. Bought a friend of mine the collection almost a year and a half ago and he still hasn’t played it, which pisses me off. Probably played 2 the most, just because on the old gen 2 ran smooth and one the fan on my 360 would work like twice as hard. Surprisingly though infinite is probably my favorite. Would love to see a four in the series or more but I know.
never played 2. most people say it's not good. really liked 1, think i liked infinite more, tho the story of 1 is better.
2 is fun because you are back in the environment. Story wasnt the best and from what I can remember it doesnt tie in all that well. I am both excited and nervous about a new game getting announced. Its obvious Ken was the creative mind behind the great stories (Bioshock Original and Infinite) so with a new team making it who knows how it ends up.
Hated 2 because the terror and vulnerable of the first one isn't there because you are a big daddy. Are big sisters terrifying, absolutely, but nothing tops that feeling of seeing and fighting your first big daddy in BioShock.
Hey just checking in, buddy bought remastered resident evil 2 today but still doesn’t have time to play one hour of the first bioshock.
https://comicbook.com/gaming/2019/08/11/mortal-kombat-reboot-writer-greg-russo-interview/#5 You said you went to the arcade and played MK2. Is there kind of one property you think would make a really good movie? I would love to figure out a way to do BioShock and I've tried. I've been like elbowing everybody I can possibly find because I think I have a really awesome way to do it that would be really fun and bring the horror of it to the forefront and hopefully keep the budget at a manageable price. But yeah, that's one that I'd absolutely adore, that'd be a lot of fun to work on. PLEASE
Pretty sure another bioshock will be coming eventually. Levine reorganizing Irrational into Ghost Story just set timelines back a bit
I played 1, skipped 2 and 3. From reading this thread 2 isn't very good. Is it ok to play 3 without playing 2 or will I miss something
