Only on board as the screenwriter originally but it was assumed he'd eventually be announced to direct it too. I'm glad they're letting him essentially reboot the whole thing.
I just read a rumor online about both him and Cavill re-signing too, obviously at least half of that rumor is now false
I guess, hypothetically, it could be set early in his career. That would allow them to keep Batfleck in the “current” timeline, but cast a younger actor as Bruce when he was much younger. I doubt that is what happens, but it’s possible.
I’ll take it but I’d much prefer a Justice League game set in the Arkham verse now. Unless they’re going with the Batman beyond timeline
I’m playing the last one currently. Thinking of how you could make a Superman game that would be fun.
Figured I’d ask in here but I’m seeing a lot of hype about how well aquaman did at the box office, I’ve hated the DC movies that they’ve put out recently but enjoyed WW Aquaman better than WW?
WW is the first real female superhero action movie and the story is built around the journey of that hero. The movie is really good at that story, even if BvS ruins a lot of it and the final act of the movie is stupid and drags it down. AM is 2.5 hours of spectacle with a cool looking/sounding hero doing things to help the plot in between battle scenes where people riding sharks are fighting people riding sea horses while an octopus plays drums in the background. WW is probably a better movie. AM is probably more fun to watch.
Somewhat Agree. But he catches a lot of flack for the shitty scripts. IDK who else in Hollywood could play Supes rn. I mean look at him
Watched Reign of the Supermen on DC Access last night. Was fairly close to the comic and was pretty good. That post credit scene though
I felt like I was watching a Make A Wish Foundation wish where a 12 year old kid wished James Wan would make a movie out of his Aquaman script.
I’m not suggesting any of these people, but look at the physical transformations John Krazysnki, Chris Pratt, Christian Bale, etc make in 6-9 month periods. The physical aspect is literally the easiest part of this. The hardest part seems to be hiring someone that knows how to write a good Superman script.
Armie Hammer would be a great choice if it happens (fingers crossed), and would be funny since he was supposed to play Batman in George Miller’s JL movie
So I know it came out forever ago but finally got around to watching Justice League. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't.....good. Certainly not the debacle Suicide Squad was, about on the level of Batman vs Superman. The acting is just so flat and while there's a ton of CGI in Marvel movies, the CGI in the DC movies is just more obvious and distracting. I assume the next go around is going to be vs The Society? Can't wait to see them try to cram a bunch of new villains into a movie.
From what I recall I thought JL2 was supposed to start filming right after JL1 but I'm sure that's been blown up now with Snyder leaving
