Freschetta four cheese brick oven is quite good, don't eat a ton of pizza but it's certainly better than Papa Johns or Dominos
Had about 4 of them. Not a huge fan of their sausage, and there was lots of it. Crust was good. Closest thing to a restaurant style pizza I’ve had from the freezer.
I've accepted the fact that gluten-free pizzas aren't going to be as good as regular pizza because of the inferior crust ingredients, but why do they also have to use inferior tasting ingredients for everything else? The cheeses are bad, the sauces are bad, the toppings are bad. Should be using other superior tasting ingredients to make up for the inferior crust, not doubling down with inferiority.
Papa Johns is like a 2/10 fresh pizza and Dominos is worse, not sure what's bold. If you can't find a pizza around you better than those 2 then you liver in a terrible place.
Will give Pizza Hut pan pizza a 3.5/10 and breadsticks a 5.5/10, still shit but much better. Papa Johns cheese sticks a 4.5/10
I live in Northern VA. If I lived in Cincy then I'd go to Chester's a ton. Dip shit Goose think their $18 large pizzas are for poors, val venis is the superior between those 2
I'm pretty anti frozen pizza bc I feel like they have too much sauce and the cheese all comes off in one bite. The digiorno pan pizza that they recently came out with is the only one I'm ok with bc it has a lot of bread so the sauce ratio is much better. Any other frozen pizzas that have less sauce?
Pizza isn't that hard, there's no best pizza places in America. There's about 400 great ones and then there's people who eat chain pizza.
Donatos makes frozen pizzas now, and they aren't half bad. Screamin Sicilian is my go-to frozen pizza these days, but I'll ride for Home Run Inn. Way too low on that list.
Cincinnati is not a great pizza town but Dewey’s, Marion’s, and Cassanos are all great. Marion’s and Cassanos are Dayton chains that you can only get in the suburbs, though. Do love me some Donatos
Overall I don't think the digiorno one is good at all, it's just the best I've had in regards to sauce/bread ratio. I'll try the outsiders one. edit: spicy tomato sauce... probably gonna have to pass
half my family in Cincy though the other half are fabulous people, I'll continue to eat amazing Chester's and drink bourbon that is 1/2 price of what I pay in DC
What’s outsiders? And also Gunners do you like Cincinnati style chili? I need to know before I assess judgement on your pizza palate
I'll eat and enjoy a Skyline dog but I'm not gonna tell the world I love it, I like chester's pizza in Cincy way more than SKyline or Goldstar(another cincy chili place)
i got a pizza from pizza hut like a month ago and it was legit bad. i regretted my purchase from the first bite. still ate the whole pizza though
I like papa johns the best but it can be wildly inconsistent. Maybe it’s just my location which does a ton of volume. Screamin’ scicillian is my go two frozen pizza by a mile.
Dominos done screwed up when they changed their crust to that nasty fake garlicky crap. Why does everyone feel the need to do that? I’ll eat Papa Johns. It’s not great, but it’s not nearly as bad as people pretend it is.
Ginos chains tend to die, They made the mistake of opening one in the South Bend/Mishawaka area which is low key a really great pizza area due to the huge Italian population from the past. I don't think it made it a year.
Pizza Hut is low grade garbage. Papa Johns definitely superior in pretty much every way. Dominoes also better.
I ate a Dominos Brooklyn Style pizza the other night because it was all that was open by my hotel. It didn’t suck
Prefer domino's to PJ. Pizza Hut is very hit or miss. My go to chain is Marco's or Jets. Big fan or both.
My favorite. Try to grab them when they go on sale. I'd rather have my local joint but I moved and it's 30 minutes away until they open a new location in may
