Is French Guiana shaded black because France had been invaded or were there really Nazis occupying a country* in South America? *And I'm talking about during WWII, not Paraguay in 1971.
Honey, the game’s coming on soon...is the pea and peppercorn mash ready? Hey Steve, can you pass the baked chicken breasts? Gtfo
NEVER in my life have I ever seen Chicken Noodle soup at a super bowl party. where the hell do lists like this get their data?
The tweet text is misleading click bait. It plainly says that those are the "most popular Super Bowl Snacks in Every State". The actual chart says right on it, that it's actually just "Uniquely searched Super Bowl foods, by state" whatever the hell that means.
I think if one person in the U.S. searches for something, whichever state they're in has an infinitely higher proportion of people searching for something than any other state, so whatever that person is searching for could end up on a map like this.
That’s not what it is. It is “uniquely searched terms”. So Maine disproportionately searches for paella as a Super Bowl food compares to the rest of the country. They do this with Halloween candy and porn genres and all sorts of stuff. It’s stupid as shit but it puts labels on states so it’s free money for the sites who post it.
Agree on the beautiful mountains. Drove from Arkansas to DC last year. Breathtaking from east Tennessee on up through VA.
There is actually a town in Virginia called Farmville and it is not that big. I should know since I used to live there.
I didn’t have a clue Virginia had dismal swamp. I’d like to see every state divided up like this....internet make it happen
Do Eastern Shore Virginians get all riled up whenever they're left off a map, or are they pretty much used to it by now?
