God I'm so sick of this basketball team. Can't wait until next season when I have to assume Gibbs will remember how to play basketball
So are we looking at 2020-2021 by the time this team is worth a shit? How do you squander what was built a few years back to this?
Pretty awful two year stretch Brey has going. Love the guy but he seriously f'd up. Next year there has to be a turn around or the program is screwed.
yeah. It looks like we still cant win recruiting battles against udub. still if it means we are not grey shirting im absolutely fine with it
Make matters worse, it's out of O'Hare on a damn work (reward) trip So they are meeting the charter to Chi in Elkhart...That's gonna not work well.
Aren't they starting to look for true DT's a little bit? How important a take would Turner be? Foskey feels like the more critical player for the roster.
foskey is way more important to me. tbqh, i dont know why they are bothering with turner. He is a good prospect but with numbers as tight as they are he doesnt seem like a guy you swing for the fences for
I guess we are interested in Eric Kumah a grad transfer from Va Tech. First highlight I see of him is a TD catch over Donte Vaughn
The grad transfer WR looks ok. I just don't understand jamming a WR into our depth chart unless their really down on Austin and Keys.
I posted this in another thread, but this is the most Charlie Weis quote ever (about whether or not he interviewed for the Lions OC job this year): “We talked, but it never got to that point,” Weis said. “There was no interview. Matt and I are too close to go through an interview. If it ever would have happened, it would have been, ‘Hey, you want to come?’ And I would have said yes or no. It wouldn’t have been anything other than that.”
I think he is worth a shot, very intriguing prospect. Maybe he ends up playing tackle or basketball or the flûte.
ah, yeah I found his profile. He is 2020. Looks like we landed the # overall recruit in the* country *a country
Fell down a Twitter wormhole There’s a big amount of European players trying to get D1 offers. Dudes are huge but so raw The qb play is atrocious But seriously not sure why the MAC schools aren’t taking 1-2 of these giant Swedes, Dutch, Fins, or Germans every year as OL/DL development recruits.
I feel like a school with resources, a decent brand, and not a strong natural recruiting base could get a leg up by scouting Europe on a regular basis. Like a Duke or Nebraska.
Wanted him but the way it unfolded makes Nd look pretty good. Kid felt better at safety and wash promised him safety, he will be moved to lb at wash. Nd told him he was a lb from the start. But Nd can spare him.
