Had 4 patients today at work. 1 patient has had a bleeding temporary dialysis catheter site for ~3 days. Pic (not the patient obviously) in spoiler. I call up every doc about this as I'm changing dressing after dressing and we're giving this guy multiple units of blood and platelets. The nephrologist tells me "You need to hold pressure on the site with your thumb for 3 hours. 30 minutes is not enough. 3 hours" "alright doc I'll call up my other 3 patients and tell them try not to die in the next 180 minutes. On second thought maybe I'll call RonBurgundy or pnk$krtcryna$ty and get an order from them to kick your ass" THIS GUY needs Busch light. Spoiler

Knock on wood, but it seems like this staff has this area lined up as well as any we have had. They had to take a few risks the first year, but they seem to really harp on it to the kids and coaches and do their background work.
