I they have a spot to spare, I would prefer taking a grad transfers if there is a hole that needs filling.
I think so Can’t see any way he stays at safety with his frame. He is a drue tranquill clone but with better speed, better frame and better athleticism
Listened to II podcast. Few things. Expect some movement of positions. Ewell back to DT. Bilal to Buck, Ovie to Drop, Wilkins possibly back to CB. Also possible transfer names. Studstill, McKinney, Wardlow, Mabry were all mentioned off the cuff
Cool quote from Tevon: Wanted to wrap up with some name association. Tell me the first thing that comes to mind with each of these people. Let’s start with Clark Lea. Amazing. That’s an amazing guy. I really, truly honor him. I look up to him just with the way that he carries himself. One day I want to be the father figure that he is for his kids. How important it is to live your life right. How important it is to have your priorities right in your life. That’s something that I truly learned when he got there my junior year, how to live my life the right way and to put the things that I wanted in my life first. Those have been the priorities in my life. The consistency that he holds in his life in all areas is also something that I learned, that it’s important to be consistent in everything I do. I can’t choose one day to be great and the next day to be average. I tried to push to be great every day. That guy is amazing for sure.
Eh, I can see it. Kids love him and Bob fucking Diaco got a head coaching gig with success at ND. I would not be surprised if starts getting looks if ND is as good or maybe even better on D next year. No clue how he would interview but his media stuff is solid. Question would then be building a staff.
I assume NDfanPSUgrad was being sarcastic. Lea is going to be a hc and one soon. The bigger question will be if he's hc at ND someday
The UW lied narrative is stupid. If you want a player and they’re adamant about playing a certain position, you give them a crack at it. Either they fit or they don’t. Then you progress from there.
Lol, turner will not play safety at Washington Why are you so stupid about it? That kid will play linebacker
It’s stupid to make a decision on something so silly since there is no way he can stay at safety. It is dishonest for grown men to lie to him so he can hear what he wants to hear when it’s so obvious that he will not be a safety.
He will be a LB, but the point is the kid wants a shot at Safety. You give him that shot then move him to LB. Perfect example of this is Randall Cobb. He wanted to play QB in college, Phil Fulmer told him no way, he's a WR. So Cobb goes to Kentucky, plays a little at QB then is moved to Wr and goes on to have a very good NFL career there. What does it hurt to give the kid at the position he wants?
18 year old kids that have spent their lifetime being the best. Instead of telling them no, show them that they can’t hang at their preferred position at the next level.
If our coaches don't lie to get priority recruits I'd be pretty mad. If you read between the lines it's why Denson is gone.
It’s February, Nd needs zero impact players in the 2020 class. They can swing for the fences, even if a kid commits elsewhere they can wait on them
The Longo news is sad. Hopefully we paid him well enough that he can retire happily. Also it's Foskey day right? Edit tomorrow, my bad.
Good Lord, USC is only getting 2 of the top 20 recruits in California? 3 out of top 30? That's insane. Spoiler insanely awesome
Nephew received a Miami offer from protégée extrodinaire Chuck Martin himself. Surely the ND invite is right behind
