Just finished this book after a year. Mostly read it at night for a few minutes before going to bed. About 1,000 pages. GREAT GREAT BOOK. Truman was a great American. Was sad when I finished it. This is a great biography. Love the style of it. Wasn't boring for me at all. Can't recommend it highly enough.

I’ve read John Adams by McCullough, which was excellent, and just finished The Wright Brothers. It was astoundingly good. That family was amazing.

I'll read John Adams at some point. I'm really into 20th century stuff right now though so I don't see myself getting out of that era for a while. Still slogging through FDR which is good.

I’m trying to decide if I want to read Truman or 1776 for my next McCullough.
