Other than people who pay attention to politics, no one remembers the rebuttals. And most people inside politics say rebuttals often sink careers. Outside of the Rubio water fiasco, I honestly can’t remember any of them.
The response isn't a position role that's highly coveted, traditionally. It's a minimal gain and a bigger loss if it goes poorly. Little Marco still hasn't outgrown the awkward water sip. Rs have recently had Joanie Ernst, too. She's notable for......castrating pigs on her farm? Idk. Shit, Bobby Jindal was never leading anyone, anywhere. I think Abrams is a good call as a matter of her demographic and because she captivated the country in a closely contested race in a state that may be leaning more purple. Andrew Gillum would've been pretty awesome too. I will not soon forget him dunking on that shit head Desantis at their debate.
I was as well. My heat just shit the bed last week, so did a precursory run through to make sure I didn’t get fucked into oblivion. As it stands, without factoring in any deductions, I’m sitting at around double what I paid last year. So I’m in the clear for having heat again. Yayyyyy
Good news, your deductions will be going to standard most likely which means that number isnt coming down much more.
I think you're better off just writing and delivering a really fucking good speech that only tangentially touches on anything that mush mouth trump lies about.
as long as the rebuttal doesn’t contain the phrase “we have more in common, than what separates us” I’ll be fine with it
But he can take comfort in knowing that billionaires will soon begin spending more and soon we will all reap the benefits of their tax cuts.
Guys I wonder if the Obama kids got bullied at Sidwell when then citizen grifter Donald trump kept proclaiming their father wasn’t an American?
my freshman year roommate always used to tell me that jindal would be the president someday we’re not friends
So many people in Louisiana thought that when he first got elected to governor.... not many people thought that for very long.
My big constantly damp PRESIDENT out here changing lives. Hope he pulls a logistic miracle and we get that kid some Butter Crunch Blue Bell.
While I don't really give a shit about the content of Trump's State of the Union address because it'll be filled with rantings, lunacy and lies, I am concerned that we may have to suffer through a media cycle of pundits falling all over themselves because he managed to read from a teleprompter without shitting himself. Admittedly, there are no guarantees he'll make it through the whole speech without waxing nostalgic about his made up approval numbers or taste in women, but there is a chance he manages to come off sounding literate. If that happens, how long until we hear proclamations like, "This is the day he became President" or "We're not sure he understood the words he was using, but he sounded more coherent than the last time he spoke"?
you really cant pass a wealth tax and also have a tax on the returns of investments. Here in NL we have wealth tax which is officially a tax on returns but on a preassumed return so effectively its a wealth tax. I also dont know why you would need brackets beyond 500k. If you have a stable income of 500K+ you are extremely wealthy. Just kick that up to about 50% but for those people who earn really variable allow people to spread out their income over 3 years. (so if you earn 250k 1 year and 25k in year 2 and 3 you can pay taxes like you earn 100k every year). It makes sure you dont hurt people with very variable income streams excessively
thats somehow more insulting than calling him an idiot as the base assumption is he is no smarter than my parents labrador retriever
I believe Gates has admitted to asking vendors if they'd take money directly from donors. Also that seems like a lot of serious charges.
