It looks OK. Nothing ground breaking, but it may be a decent game. I'm still on the fence about buying it, though.
Played the demo and enjoyed it. Has a lot of potential. Just not sure if I’ll have the time to play it.
Open demo out today. The more I played the first demo session the more fun and appreciation I had for the game. I played destiny one but the grind became too much. I think all the customization and team play aspects might get me to stick with this game longer.
Been playing for an hour and still can’t get a mission or free play to go so I’m just been stuck on the map clicking shit
Fun gameplay but they have to have a self revive. This whole having to wait for a teammate to revive on a normal mission is awful
Think it might be a demo glitch. It says something about a revive timer, but then you have to wait for somebody.
Feel like ME:A controls/gunplay They really need to increase the movement speed in the town. It sucks now. Need some form of team chat in matchmaking. Trying to get 3 others to solve the puzzle was a nightmare
I was told they decreased it the demo because of reasons. Team chat is there, but it’s disabled by default lol
Enjoyed the gameplay quite a bit. The technical state of things worry me a bit. The guns are also a bit boring. I know it's mostly about abilities but was hoping for a bit more in that department. I'm still going to ger it and see what it's all about.
I definitely wanted to get better at flying and maneuvering rather than the shooting mechanics. I get like that was more of the goal so to speak than getting good at shooting. I’d drop in, take 2 or 3 aliens out then take off and go towards another group and so forth.
I just melee everything with the interceptor. Seemed like the easiest way to get things done. Guns were kind of useless, and took way too long just to kill the small enemies. Didnt like how short of a time you could fly, and how easy it was for enemies to cause you to overheat. I felt like I was Great Value brand Iron Man or something. It's a pass for me, as of now. Maybe deep deep sale.
I agree on the enemy thing. Took way more to bring them down and all they had to do was sneeze at you and you’re scrambling for shields and health
I think it's easily fixable, too. Before it's all said and done, it will be a really good game I think. Just going to take some major tinkering.
They should at least make the rangers guns stronger. The rest of the classes I rarely used the gun. A couple well timed combos pretty much renders them useless. I had a much easier time avoiding enemy snipers and the like by using B to jump around their aim.
Only used the ranger and unlocked the interceptor and used melee and shotguns. Storm looks legit though.
Right. I went through a dungeon that took an hour, got 20 pieces of loot, game dc, lost loot. Games trash
sounds like you need better internet, no way it was their servers fault! they've never had server issues! /sarcasm
Only about 5 minutes into the review, but thank fuck I didnt pre order this. "I know this is a life service game, and I know it will be updated, but you can't unbake a cake. The problems with anthem are baked so deep into its crust, that it would need to be ripped out in order to fix them."
I’m torn. I’ve put 12 hours in. The combat, world, and exploration is amazing. I love it. But playing it I get this deja vu feeling from Destiny. Not enough enemy types Missions are repetitive and not varied enough Movement in the city is terrible Overall, I’m enjoying it. I would say it’s only worth $60 if you like looter shooter games.
Did they seriously not change this from the beta? The movement in the city felt like in those dreams I have where I try to run, and everyone else can move normal, but for some reason it feels like I'm in quicksand
I’m excited to play the trial but I’m really hoping to see a drop to about $40 and I’ll snag it for that.
There will be raiding and apparently will be a major content patch as well. If you’re a heavy min-maxer and enjoy grinding it’s a game for you. I think the Division 2 rollout will be much better and a more popular game just because they’ve learned from their massive Division 1 launch failure.
I just don't care for Division's gameplay. It gets boring pretty quick for me. The movement in Anthem is what hooked me in the demo. I'm just hoping the game gets better over time like Destiny. Maybe one of these days someone will release one of these games that is good right off the bat.
guy i play online w a lot was tryin to talk this game up last night as a plug until D2 comes out. glad I have TMB video game "sources" to make sure I don't waste my money. Once Division 2 comes out it's all I'll play. Big fan of playing through co-op story modes with bros on XBL and having a fun 4-man crew makes the experience the best of any game I've played. same group of us played damn near every night and had the TMB maxed gear-score crew when I wanted to go play in the darkzone
