Never allow it to auto renew. There’s always XBL for cheap $45ish or less for a year. I try to remember to post links when I come across them.
Got the Xbox set up for the kids, this thing has been either installing games or updating for 19 of the last 20 hours. Jesus
The Xbox twitter account always reminds people before the holidays that if they're gifting an Xbox One to someone that they should actually open it and connect it to the internet before gifting it to them so it can get its updates and everything then put it back in its packaging. It's just the way all these consoles are now in the age of the internet. Then games are just massive now, especially with 4k stuff available. I'd say the average game is probably 40GB at this point which even on a 100mbps connection would take an hour. And even if you get the disc version you still have to install it and, in most cases, download a "day one" update which a lot of times is the size of the entire game.
Looks like Respawn is announcing a Titanfall 2 Battle Royale game today at 2pm central. They are doing a release on this stream channel: link I know that BRs are getting overplayed....but I'm a gosh darn sucker for them. Still loving Call of Duty's Blackout.
While I didn't play Titanfall 2, the movement on Titanfall 1 at least was really fun, fluid, and creative. Could be cool in a BR setting.
i just dont have the patience for BR's. have played a lot of fortnite and some of Blackout. blackout we land too often without getting any body armor and it's such a disadvantage. fortnite, i dont like building so at a disadvantage there, lol.
It actually looks pretty awesome. So it's not Titanfall 2 per say, but its "in the same world". It's basically Overwatch + Titanfall in a BR setting. Characters have special abilities, the movement is amazing, map looks dope. It's all free....only pay stuff is for cosmetics. For as much shit as EA destroys, their smaller projects are pretty cool. Basically, they get all of the resources and 1/3rd of the oversight. Game is available to download right now and play. 25gb. Will report back cause I am working from home this afternoon.

I'm pretty hooked on Blackout but I do like the Respawn guys so I set this to download so I can play it this evening. Wish they could have found a way to incorporate titans but I understand that would be hard.
I'm planning on trying out Apex this morning. I'm sure it sucks, as all new games suck, and I'll be back on Smite by this evening.
I just haven't had any motivation to play any games. I played Forza for a week or so when it started on Game Pass, and played Doom for a few hours during Christmas break, and that's been all I've played in the last 6 or so months. Just can't get in the mood.
well snap out of it! tho i feel ya. my last relationship failed in part because all i wanted to do was play destiny in my free time. games cant get me hooked like they used to lately. even a game as good as RDR2 can't keep me interested for hours at a time.
