I am not watching The bundy one was ok but it drove me nuts. The lack of accountability from pretty much anybody that had anything to do with the case absolutely killed me.
Started Bundy before the Andre the Giant one as I was eating lunch. Got disturbed and was quickly losing my appetite, so I turned it to something a littttle bit lighter.
Abducted in plain sight is the most bizarre thing I've ever seen. Was laughing so hard I had to pause it when the dad gave the pedophile a hand job. Also, the fucking brother was nuts. "Yea he was a sexual pervert and always was, didn't get all that living with little girls but man he could sell the shit out of a used car. "
the brother was confusing. I assumed he was going to rip his brother, which would have been great, but he never really did it.
His first scene made it seem like he hated him, straight up called him a pedophile. Then he brought him in and gave him a job then seemed real sad when things got real bad and about his suicide.

I couldn’t finish it. Honestly, the decisions of her parents were so appalling they almost didn’t seem real. The dude “relieving” the pedo made my jaw drop. Did not see that one coming.
The dude needed a release, what kind of friend are you if you can’t help a fellow man? And he goes on a unannounced 2 weeks vacation with your 12 years old daughter and comes back just in time for his therapy that requires him to sleep in the 12 years old bed 4 times a week. These peoples were paid or they are the most stupid people ever.
those tweets convinced me to watch it and it was stunning. there were moments where you had to stop and remind yourself what a horrific situation it was because it was so outlandish that it almost made you laugh. like the not calling the authorities because the local fbi office was closed for the weekend
also you’re dumber than the parents if you think that shit was faked. even the fbi officer who did the entire investigation said how unbelievably naive and dumb the parents were. unless you think he’s somehow in on the lie, i have no idea what would lead you to believe it’s made up
people itt have said they think part of the story could be made or played up or there is no way that the parents could actually be that naive. the lead agent who worked both kidnappjngs literally confirmed that they were in fact that oblivious and naive. so unless you think he’s part of the scheme to embellish the story, not sure why someone wouldn’t accept the story at face value

because they both signed affidavits saying she wasn’t kidnapped and he had no witnesses? did you not pay attention to what he was saying?
I know they did sign, but the FBI agent was livid when they signed the affidavits Now it could mean that they were stupid and naive...also could mean that they got paid. Regardless it’s a sad sad story.

100% And his own brother knew he was a pedophile since childhood. The docs like this and the one about the catholic school in Baltimore in the 60’s really put me over the edge. So many people failed that it’s almost incomprehensible.
Yeah, I understand that. According to the law it did not apply back then But is it impossible to procecute them now?
On another note, I watched Icarus. One of the more enjoyable docs I’ve seen. Perfect timing for the filming as it played out in real time.
