I'm not really a fan of having to check my entire inventory and discern what I need and need to remove. Seems too convoluted. I'm also pretty dumb so....
How would I know that. I have to open those chests just to look at images that all look the same. Seems like it's way too flashy ATM.
I honestly have no clue what youre talking about. Things attach to guns automatically. You can just not pick up things you arent going to need. Shotgun attachment but youre not carrying? Dont pick it up. All of the guns and ammo needed are the same color so you dont even have to know what theyre called. Its is easily the most user friendly inventory system in BRs
Don’t pick up ammo for a gun you don’t have, don’t pick up attachments for guns you don’t plan on having, pretty simple.
The ease of swapping attachments and seeing what is compatible with what weapon on the fly, the colors of the guns/ammo, and being able to request individual parts/ammo for the weapon you have are all absolutely incredible. Add in really good gunplay (dont @ me TrustyPatches ) and you've got a real competitor in the BR genre.
probably at about 12-15 wins at this point. playing wraith or caustic mostly. occasional bloodhound. re-45 is my favorite gun.
1. R-203 2. Spitfire/Flatline I'm not counting the yellow weapons but the Kraber is an absolute unit. 200 damage with a headshot
yes, it tears through people at close range and they're everywhere. as far as late game goes: mastiff full auto prowler re-45 spitfire flatline r-301 p-99 modded peacekeepers are nice but im probably not going to use them early-mid game i dont mind picking up something with some range but i really prefer to get close to enemies. burst hemlock is fine c7-scout is fine wingman is fine
Honestly, its beautiful how everyone has different favorites. They did an excellent job with balancing, unlike Battlefield where there are 30 guns and 3 are viable.
Got a kill with the Mozambique today. That really should be a trophy. Maybe give me a banner or something for it. 1) Devotion 2) Prowler 3) Flatline 4) Spitfire I also like the R-301 and Alternator
I must be the only person who likes the g7 scout. I've wiped many a teams with the scout/peacekeeper combo. Just had a game with 2500 damage running them
I use the Mozambique if I must. I just need any shotgun in one slot. Came in second just now because my noob random teammate with lifeline sat and looked at me for 1m45s while the storm was paused as I had limited health. Just stared at me. I ping requested health about 8 times.
But you don't know what you can't use until you pick it up to equip. That's the part that takes too long. Then having to pause and drop crap you forgot you picked up in the early game rush. And there's room for improvement with the system although it is good once you get the hang of it
when you look at something it says what it is. everything has a unique look. the pop up tells you anything you need to know. if your gun can equip the thing it will say it.
Wait till he finds out he can ping all those sniper attachments instead of picking up and dropping them
Conversely I’ve been called a n-word four times in like 2 hours of playing. Sometimes silence is golden.
I love the Scout and the Hemlok. Always been a fan of semi-auto and burst fire AR's. I know the Scout is technically a sniper but it really works more like an AR to me. And I saw someone mention the full auto Prowler. I prefer its burst fire. I might be an idiot though and I've really only tried the full auto once. I've had the gun and the attachment multiple times but the one time I switched to full auto I lost so I never did it again.
Devotion melts. RE45 pistol for up close, Peacekeeper if I can find one though. Never seen a mastiff yet.
I've never taken a Mastiff or Kraber out of the supply drops. They scare me because they only have the ammo they come with. Kraber has like 12 shots and I'm not sure what the Mastiff has. Also, I feel like my aim is potato-like long range in this game which discourages me from trying the Kraber and I feel safer with a Peacekeeper with plenty of ammo than I would with a Mastiff. I'm sure I'll try it at some point. Have seen it probably half a dozen times.
They are worth it. You’ll get some kills with the gold gun and be able to swap weapons with a dead man if you are running out of ammo. If you don’t kill them with the gold weapon you wouldn’t have killed them with whatever weapon you had, IMO.
I need to start playing with actual teammates instead of randoms. I have about 10 wins, but I feel like I should have more. When you get 1000+ damage and your teammates are in the 200 range it gets annoying.
Mastiff is definitely worth it. 24 shots when you pick it up. Kraber does 125 damage body shot. One shot kill on headshot. Picked it up 3 times and only got to really use it once. But that one time i absolutely killed it. Devotion with turbocharge is probably the best gun in the game.
Idk what it is but I have trouble registering consistent hits with the Mastiff. I’ll 1 shot someone full health and then the next 2 shots I will only get 10 damage. The easy is answer is probably I suck. But we all know that’s not true cause I fucking rock. My next guess is the crosshairs on it is a little funky and I’m just not good at aiming shots with it. Kraber is fun, but a lot of times you get it so late it’s not that useful in the endgame CQC. You really gotta use the like live distance meter on scopes to account for bullet drop with snipers.
I know I've got a couple so far. More often than not though, I'll just quick shoot the three shots hoping for a big chunk and then swap to a smg/automatic pistol style to finish the job.
Pretty much how i felt going from PUBG to this game. I played for about three hours yesterday and I'm still trying to find my sea legs.
Just got my first hour in today. I have no idea what to pick up or discard and have to get used to charging/additional buttons. Got into a one game with two guys ranked in the 20 range which was very helpful/fun to not die immediately. Have to learn the guns and then start fucking with the special abilities.
2 or 3 days of playing and you'll have all those little things down pat. You'll get to where a quick glance at attachments you'll know whether or not you need them.
That's impossible, there's simply not enough information when looking at attachments to know whether they attach to my gun or not, despite all of the obvious words and graphics indicating exactly that.
that makes me want to give him another shot. i've been using caustic since i used points to get him, but he's just ok. i dont like that my traps also disorient my teammates. guess the traps are more for defending choke's and your backside.
