Guessing nothing trailer wise at this point until celebration Maybe some photos from a magazine in the meantime
And because this is the internet supposedly someone found “balance of the force” hidden in the SW site’s web code and people are guessing that’s the title
I honestly give it a zero percent chance. It may have some good elements but EA will butcher it with micro transactions like they do all of their other games.
Jedi: Fallen Order looks to be a step in the right direction of the kind of game that I want. I'm getting bored with a lot the new content being set between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope.
Gaming companies need to pay some attention to how Fortnite and a few others are doing it, making microtransactions strictly tied to cosmetics that don't change gameplay. It's fun, allows for creative expression, while not fully caving to greed. I am not hopeful though.
until it's actually filming I expect those rumors to keep cropping up. On some level it feels inevitable, but I really do hope we get to see him play in the world without the shackles of being part of the sacred main saga.
Rian Johnson is a fantastic filmmaker, of course I want to see more movies in the SW universe directed by him. Allow him to expand his neo/future noir themes into some grimy depths. Fuck yeah.
Translation: “We aren’t very good at making games but are very good at making money and EA gives us a lot of that for licensing”
Bone to pick time. The criticism of the Star Wars franchise is way over the top, but the defense of people wishing Luke had been more of a badass jedi from Hidalgo bothers the shit out of me. I get that he draws a ton of inspiration from the old samurai movies, but the fans are clearly telling him that they don't like it as much as he does.
I dont really care to tell people their opinions are wrong on a movie. However - My personal opinion is that, while immediately after I watched I was deeply unsatisfied we didnt get a badass Luke moment, I do agree it would have been completely out of character w this growth pattern as a character. Fans can not like it, but I dont think it makes him wrong either.
Seems like "watch more samurai movies" isnt really a defense so much as it is him telling people he's smarter than them
I think that's the point though. they are unhappy with the path in general. I find myself appreciating what we got, but at the same time really wishing we got to see GOAT tier Luke like we saw in the EU. I find his explanation of why they didn't go that way to be lacking
I guess I'm the only guy who thought Luke projecting himself halfway across the galaxy just to fuck with his nephew was badass. That cut away to him meditating, with the music swelling...I guess I was lucky to have a friendly crowd because that place went bananas for that reveal.
