Visiting Maryland now TREVON HILL (VIRGINIA TECH DE TRANSFER) Hill is the big surprise guest. The highly regarded former Hokies defensive end committed to Miami, but sources said he's only signed a financial aid agreement with the Hurricanes, meaning he's still free to go elsewhere. A 6-foot-3, 245-pound defensive end, Hill played in 29 games during three seasons at Virginia Tech, totaling 94 total tackles, 20 tackles for loss and 11.5 sacks. He was dismissed from the program after Virginia Tech's shocking upset loss against Old Dominion, saying afterward reports of the incident were exaggerated and his didn't believe his dismissal was warranted. RJ Proctor, the grad transfer out of Virginia, is about to fly out in the next 30 minutes or so. He tells me he had had a great visit overall. He'll hit Ohio State, Oklahoma, Florida State and Houston in the coming weeks (in that order). I'll try to catch up with Proctor tonight or on Monday, but it sounds like Texas made a strong impression this weekend.
him going to fsu or houston would really make me upset. the mad dash to dismiss this young man's interest in a quality education would be something.
and we share a conference with Clemson, where every building on campus is named after pro-slavery, pro-segregation political leaders.
MD fans also think Locksley is the reason Bama's offense was good and Tua was a good QB 2009 UNM 1-11 2010 UNM 1-11 2011 UNM 0-4 2015 MD 1-5 Total 3-31 Dude is the college version of Hue Jackson pfffffffttt
Good luck to him. But honestly he's like an injury prone version of that WR they just had transfer themselves. He'll drop a couple, make a circus catch, then pull his groin and be out 5 weeks, come back and drop a few more.
Yea but the important thing is Franklin won’t feel the same loyalty to keep playing him after he sucks. That was the issue with Johnson. We need some depth, will gladly take a flyer.
Honestly his first name is George.... and his last name is Campbell So at the very least you add that to your team
Yeah he seems like a less productive version of Juwan Johnson. I’m fine with it. Our staff won’t feel any loyalty to him and if he sucks he takes a scholarship for 1 year and is gone. Doubt he gets much playing time if he’s not healthy or sucks.
As a freshman he did, not sure how much he has played STs since. Campbell is pretty big and real fast so I could see him contributing on KO
We’re replacing 4 OL starters and the Rutgers kid is a fifth year senior who was All Big Ten honorable mention in 2018. We’re paper thin on the OL.
