I don't know much about him, but my impression is that people inside the 251 are obsessed with Byrne and people outside of it are very meh. Is that accurate? Can he win statewide? I know it depends on a lot but this is a man that lost to Robert Bentley.
Does it really matter? This fucked up state nearly elected Roy Moore. Any normal seeming republican is gonna cruise to victory.
Came itt to see any reviews. I normally go ribs, pork, Mac, rice with the spicy vinegar sauce, and white bread. Probably would be my choice for last meal if it ever came to that.
Went to El Zun Zun for the first time yesterday for lunch. Pretty disappointing. Wife had a margarita, I had a beer, we split cheese dip and a quesadilla and left with a $40 tab. Food was just ok service was slow.
They’ve TexMex’d the menu up considerably, based off early reviews. It seems people didn’t get the concept and wanted food they’re used to seeing at “Mexican” restaurants.
Yeah it was way more Mexican that I thought it was going to be. I thought the price point was bad. If I wanted to overpay for average Mexican food I would have gone to La Paz.
A Milo's slushy exists and I am just learning this now. If anyone needs me I'll be driving around Tuscaloosa looking for it.
I believe that’s the Chevron off of Joe Mallisham Parkway near the western bypass. 2800 Mallisham Parkway, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401
The most difficult thing for any republican will be the primary. All of them are tripping over themselves to announce full support of trump, so the primary will probably come down to which one is most supportive of him. Byrne appears to disagree with trump on climate change, so that could doom him in the primary.
I usually watch abc 33/40. I noticed this lady after one of the games this past season. Here's another they used to have.
Ribs 9.6/10 Pork 8.3/10 Turkey 8.1/10 Mac and Cheese 9.1/10 Baked Beans 8.8/10 Hush Puppies 8.9/10 Really liked the “Other” sauce
We went last night and thought it was really good. Also got the 3 meat combo - ribs, pork, and chicken. Also agree about the ribs being the highlight.
I think swim made it. I just print screen/copy/pasted from the old thread, so I can’t really edit it.
Did anyone try Milo’s chili last year? Tasted like what, I would imagine, a used ashtray would taste like.
I miss walking around with a judge’s nametag and drinking free beer all day. I do not miss judging the chili.
The stuff they put on Jack's fries is disgusting. I hate Milo's, but with a gun to my head, I'd pick that over Jack's fries at least.
CF3234 There’s a Full Moon BBQ right by the Pelham Civic Center. It’s a pretty good local chain. If you head north about a mile on 31, in the Publix shopping center, is Tony’s Hotdogs. Good hotdog/hamburger place with a damn good breakfast. It’s small, so wouldn’t be a good option if you have a hockey team with you. It’s just past Milos, which is fast food burger place mentioned above. Are you looking for a dinner spot for a large group? Probably head north 7mi into Hoover and go to the Riverchase Galleria/Patton Creek shopping center area where there’s plenty of choices, but you probably should go to Twin Peaks.
