Yeah my dad asked me about it earlier today, but it wasnt public yet and we didnt know how true it was. Heard it has something to do with giving the kids prescription drugs, or something along those lines
He’s a hall of famer piece of shit. Probably first ballot, likely unanimous assuming the piece of shit writers association don’t get all pissy about it.
I’ve already got enough on my plate with BooMposter. Gonna be hard to defend a legit claim to the throne.
Thread inspired me to look for “repeat” from two-a-days.... https://m.facebook.com/repete.smith?ref=br_rs&fref=browse_search
Just looked at his Wikipedia page. Apparently he is married to his second wife, a woman named “Stefnie”.
Kinda weird he deleted his account that fast. I asked him if he had drugs to sell only as an ice breaker.
There’s a poster here who was married to Stefnie before (during?) Rush got her. Can’t remenber who it is.
Seems like he got a bad rap for the second family thing. He got stuck in a situation where he was in love with a woman but couldn’t leave the first wife because she had a car wreck.
I didn’t even know he had a second family until yesterday. So you are probably right about the other stuff. Just seemed unfair to judge him so harshly when he clearly wanted to be with the second woman but the social norms prevented him from doing it.
He had a wife and multiple kids Starts having an affair with another woman and then ditches his family and moves to GA with his new gf and kids The espn doc his original kids said he doesn’t even speak to them anymore now that he has a new wife and kids Yup...we are giving him a bad rap by calling him a piece of shit
Excellent football coach, terrible person. My first thought was he changed grades again and/or played an ineligible player.
That guy is a monster coach. The booster money he gets at Colquitt to build the facilities and whatnot is incredible. And Propst is Jeremy Pruitt's idol
https://colquittcountypackerfootbal...ball-athletic-facilities-stadium-high-school/ These facilities are insane for a high school out in the sticks.
His one requirement when getting the indoor built was that he wanted it to be better than the one at UGA
Pretty easy since we didn't have one at all. And I'm pretty sure they've got a medical trailer they take to every game.
He hasn't won as many state championships at Colquitt as he did at Hoover, but you could probably argue his success at Colquitt has been more impressive based on the level of competition.
None of the previous posters mentioned he doesn’t talk to his older children in their critique. Like I said, there may be other things.
I know of a kid that transferred in to colquitt from out of state whose family never even moved there. He lived in a house either owned or rented by a booster with a couple other players in the same situation as him. GHSA is either too scared of him or doesn't give a fuck. Probably a mix of both. Not to say he isn't a great coach, because I absolutely think he is. It's just that he's a great coach at a school that has been more than willing to turn a blind eye at all of his bullshit if it meant winning.
Never lived or coached there, but I'm not too far from there now and I've been there a decent amount. I know a good bit of people that coached or still currently coach for him, though. My one experience with Moultrie when I was younger (grew up in FL) was getting my first can of dip from the AG Expo there
I loathed going there playing football and soccer as a kid. I went through there a few years back and it's still pretty terrible. I'm guessing GHSA is all "fuck it, let them have it. I'd rather not go down there"
