Looked like a different team in the 2nd half than we’d seen in months. Too bad Mitro couldnt finish that header or Sess stay onside at the end. Obviously we are going down but nice to see a team w some fight and some energy from the stands.

Mitro and Sess definitely gone and probably Mawson too if he gets healthy. Cairney is a maybe and hopefully we can trick someone into taking Seri and Anguissa. All the loanees go back. Could be a rough go next year unless we make some good signings.

I just dont see us competing in the championship next year w a majority new team. Think itll be closer to relegation than promotion unfortunately. We built such a solid squad for 2 years to get promoted. We had some good players like Mccormack and Dembele in the near relegation seasons and it still took some luck in both getting some good players in and finding Slav at the right time.

Fulham contracts: Full list of deals and when they expire at Craven Cottage
The likes of Ryan Sessegnon, Aleksandar Mitrovic and Tom Cairney all have a while to run on their deals

Fulham's season hasn't gone to plan and with just eight games left in the Premier League campaign, relegation back to the Championship is looking all the more likely.

A 3-1 defeat to Leicester City on Saturday means the Whites are now 13 points off safety and can pretty much start planning for the second tier next year, with who will stay and who will go now a major talking point.
Fulham have done a good job of tying down most of their key players to long-term contracts with club options to extend by a further year, meaning that if some do move on they'll be able to bring a strong position to the bargaining table.

We've gone through the squad at Craven Cottage and compiled a list of when each players' contract runs out, as well as whether or not they've got options on them.

Newest Sess rumor is that Tottenham are going to offer £50million and then loan him back to us next season, which is about as good a scenario we can hope for I think.

ManUtd and PSG are also pretty interested. Between the EPL parachute and the transfer money we’ll get for guys not willing to go down we should be pretty flush but after last summer’s spending spree I’m not super confident we turn it into a promotion caliber side.

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...Tottenham-prepare-50m-Ryan-Sessegnon-bid.html

Tottenham 'prepare £50m Ryan Sessegnon bid' and will loan him back to Fulham if they beat PSG and Manchester United to his signature
    • Tottenham are 'planning to make a £50m move for Fulham's Ryan Sessegnon'
    • Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in 18-year-old
    • Sessegnon is stalling over extending his Fulham deal which expires next summer
    • Tottenham could buy the winger in the summer and loan him back to Fulham
    By JORDAN SEWARD FOR MAILONLINE

    PUBLISHED: 06:53 EDT, 17 March 2019 | UPDATED: 09:52 EDT, 17 March 2019

Tottenham are 'plotting to make a £50million swoop for Fulham starlet Ryan Sessegnon' in the summer.

The 18-year-old, who is out of contract at the end of next season, is stalling over signing a new deal with Tottenham one of a number of high-profile clubs considering a move for him.

Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have both held a long-term interest in the winger and are monitoring his situation closely.

However, The Mirror claim that Tottenham are favourites for his signature with Sessegnon reluctant to move outside of London and the club are now preparing to make a £50m bid.

Tottenham - who have not signed a player in the past two transfer windows - could acquire Sessegnon this summer and then loan him back to Fulham for the 2019-20 campaign.

The Premier League strugglers have been desperately trying to tie the youngster down to a new deal but have been unable to strike an agreement with him.

Scott Parker's men look destined for the Championship, as they sit 13 points adrift of safety with only eight remaining games.

If Fulham were to go down, a chance to have Sessegnon in the Championship looks an appealing offer and may be something the club insist as part of any deal.

With as much as he has regressed this year you take 50 for him all day. Getting him loaned back for another year is just the cherry on top. Hope this happens.

I think it would be a solid hire. Huddersfield never should have gotten promoted and stayed up. He’s more proven than a lot of other names that could come up. Wish the US would have hired him though

think its good bc youre getting a guy with Premiere League pedigree who wants to manage in the Championship + has navigated the Championship promotion process

Its just not going to be an aesthetic style/identity.

Tony has been the final decision maker on players for a few years. He relies heavily on the sabermetrics type shit though over the opinion of his coach and scouts. Basically he thinks hes smarter than guys who have been doing this their whole life. Apparently Slav wanted other players during the summer window but Tony only gave him guys that fit into his little computer formula.

I guess I'm alone in thinking that Schurrle was pretty good this year. Stats don't show it but I felt like the small flashes of creativity we did see on offense went through him. I was looking forward to seeing him in the Championship :idk:

    https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/8783650/fulham-transfer-news-andre-schurrle-dortmund/

Fulham to begin summer clear-out by sending flop Schurrle back to Dortmund thanks to crafty clause in German’s deal
    EXCLUSIVE
    By Andrew Dillon

ANDRE SCHURRLE will become the first casualty of Fulham’s relegation by being sent back to Borussia Dortmund a year early.

The Cottagers insisted on a clause in the German World Cup winner’s two-year loan deal which enabled them to cancel the agreement if relegated.

Fulham were doomed to the drop by a 4-1 defeat at Watford on Tuesday night which sees them heading back to the Championship after just one season in the top flight.

But the crafty clause in Schurrle’s deal at least means the club will save around £2.5million in wages they could technically have been forced to pay under the terms of the contract.

Winger Schurrle, 28, is likely to be just the first of a string of players to leave Fulham as they prepare for a round of belt-tightening ahead of next season.

The future of sought-after Ryan Sessegnon will also come under scrutiny.

However, the left winger did tweet recently that he wants interim boss Scott Parker to be given the manager’s job full time - dropping a hint that he may be ready to stay put and help try to get Fulham back into the Premier League again.

Fulham still have five dead rubber games to play which could also determine Parker’s future at the club.

They do not have a match this weekend due to the FA Cup semi finals taking place.

And that means the Craven Cottage legend has a week and a half to rally his crestfallen squad ready for a home clash against Everton on April 13.

Parker officially w the job. I don’t mind it, but hard to really get excited. I’ve never felt like manager really has that much of an effect on a team. I assume he’ll have a pretty short leash going into next year.

Huge news. But I assume there is some clause that if we don't go up he can move on. Also saw Elliott to Liverpool but don't see a transfer fee yet.
