Prob not. Idk if I can subject myself to those crowds, or nerdom. Is it all just waiting in lines to see shit? F- that.
How many stories have they made about Jedis that survived Order 66 now? How hard is it to come up with something new.
I played SWTOR on launch and it may be one of the best story driven MMOs of all time. I would put it up against anything. Huttball PVP was also incredible and tons and tons of fun with a very unique gameplay experience. They just forgot that the people who play MMOs literally push endgame content. My buddy and I hit max level in like 5 days after we both took off work and pushed content. We did the raid like the 2nd week which was still super buggy on the last boss and then had nothing to do. I played a Bounty Hunter and had the best gear after like 3 weeks. It was probably one of the earlier games that was pushed out too early by executives. They lost 75% of their playerbase in less than a year because they had no other endgame content until they released the hurt cartel expansion but by then it was too late.
Well for that game is was a single raid. For games now it’s usuallt raids or some form of content that you can play progressively harder which in the turn rewards you with progressively better chances at higher quality gear. This had a single raid on release that wasn’t tuned well and where you couldn’t actually defeat the final boss encounter until it could be hotfixed.
I feel old because Im not getting much of this video game jargon. I just use to play sports games. Pat White on NCAA Football
I'll watch. Im somewhat ashamed to say I watched all the story parts of Battlefront on Youtube just for the in canon story.
Already had a reservation for september 2nd. Hell yes sucks that it won't be 100% open, but i'll take it.
https://insidethemagic.net/2019/03/mark-hamill-talks-new-star-wars-trilogy/ Mark Hamill says he was hornswoggled
I do feel once Fisher passed away, it made sense to carry him forward into the third since the original plan was to make ep. 9 Leia centric. I guess their thought was that Obi-Wan was absent in episode 6 except in projection form and that was good enough.
I sympathize with him and he has earned the right to speak his mind but wish it would’ve been a one off, speak his piece sort of deal
Hamill makes great points. He’s expressing the same concerns we all had. The part about not even acknowledging C3PO? Like wtf. TFA was such Han’s movie and we got to see so much of him, that I think some of us felt it would be the same for Luke in 8 AND 9. On the flip side I did like Rian’s story that Luke didn’t come back John Wayne style and kick everyone’s ass like he never left. He was disenfranchised, he made a huge mistake, and couldn’t get over it. However he did come back and essentially sacrifice himself to save the Resistance. And while Luke didn’t live on, his legend did.
I thought the wink was a nice touch. I guess people wanted more interaction between them the way he and R2 had, but it's not like 3PO and Luke were joined at the hip in the OT. Luke and R2 were together throughout Empire, while 3PO was off with Han and Leia.
BTW - The Queen's Shadow was pretty good. Not action packed, but a lot of good world building in Coruscant politics
Saw him at Star Wars weekend. It was his first appearance. Was given a warm reception and you could see how much it meant to him.
I don't think anyone (in their right mind) holds any ill will toward him. He did what he was told to do. He was just told to embarrass the franchise is all.
So is he now mad at JJ and Kasden who killed off Han? Is he mad at Harrison who insisted on dying in movie one? That doesn't even make sense. I choose to believe he was just being forlorn and wasn't trying to throw shade on anyone.
