So I’ve heard re: haven’t seen anything yet... yeah I can tell I was warned about the complexity prior to this so I’m really paying close attention
Bandersnatch was great. BM producers said it basically took the time it takes to make 4 BM episodes. I remember this concept years ago for movie theaters.
Apparently, BM is being sued because of the Bandersnatch film. On a different note, Umbrella Academy is pretty legit.
Yep, that's them. Apparently, this isn't the first time "Choose your own adventure" has sued someone over this kind of deal. https://www.theverge.com/2019/1/11/...own-adventure-book-trademark-lawsuit-chooseco
https://www.digitalspy.com/tv/a845327/dark-season-2-netflix-release-date-cast-trailer-theories-plot/ Don’t click the link og543ss for spoilers. Important part- Dark was officially renewed by Netflix for season two on December 20 after becoming one of its "most-watched entirely non-English shows", but there was no confirmation of release date. It would be some speedy turnaround for season two to land anytime this year, so it's looking more likely that 2019 is when we'll be returning to Winden, which would be appropriate since 2019 is the main contemporary setting of the first season. Dark season two could follow the same pattern of dropping just after the new batch of Stranger Things.
The guy that plays Ulrich says June of 2019. Spoiler Who knows though. Also, this sounds promising: https://www.denofgeek.com/uk/tv/1899/61802/netflix-series-dark-creators-news
I watched the trailer and didn't like the concept at all. On a different note, I'm five episodes into Umbrella Academy and it's gotten a bit better. I'm definitely getting a watered down "Heroes" vibe from this series.
Yesterday was perfect Netflix weather. Burned thru S3 Last Kingdom. Al dying while getting bitched at incessantly by his old lady is fitting
You mean to tell me we beat those bastards in 2 straight world wars and they still cant even speak American?
Totally looking forward to The Dirt. Not sure how I feel about Ramsey Bolton playing Mick Mars but whatevs...better be lots of nudity in this bitch
Watched Behind the Curve yesterday evening. It's exactly what you would expect from a Flat Earther vs creditable scientist situation. I did find it funny that when the FE would test their theories (One of which involved purchasing a twenty thousand dollar device) they would be slapped in the face with reality. One of the more frightening moments was at the Flat Earth Conference. A 12 year old, decided to ask one of the panelists a question (How high do you think the dome over flat earth is?). Apparently, his parents brought him to this conference.
I’m going in a trip out west. Looking for something to watch on the plane. Is Dark worth the download?
finally got around to watching Dark and loved. Made the mistake of watching it while my girlfriend was around. Spent a out half of each episode explaining who was who. Russian Doll irritated me at first but eventually got better and I enjoyed it. The main character's constant elderly Jewish comic from the 1970s shtick is a little annoying though and never really goes away.
Agree on Russian doll, it gets better when they give more time to the black dude. The girl is annoying
“I think the first time I heard about flat earthers was... the last time I was in space?” - NASA astronaut
Yeah, I really never got to a point where I liked the Main character. Thought the show got way better the more the other guy was involved, though. Maybe a different actress would have helped, even though I didnt think the actual character was that great.
It was a good concept but not well done. Reminds you of the butterfly effect Dark is so much better if you are looking for a time travel show. It’s incredible.
