I’m certainly a Kihei doubter but am willing to forgive a bad game. What I don’t understand is that he’s been REALLY bad both on offense and defense and has played every minute so far.
Ty has been out of control. Taking bad shots and making sloppy passes. Can’t even blame it on his back, just pure mental mistakes.
If you’re going to play ty then play him at point and sit Clarke on the bench where he belongs. We can play other lineups.
when Key's making shots, this team is so much better - but man do they owe a lot tonight to Ahmed Hill being fucking terrible
We would have been in really bad shape if Robinson had played tonight. Refs were awful too, even the announcers were on our side there. I caught four “That was a bad call” from the announcers
Our top 6 is so good. But our 7-8 has been much better on past teams. Really wish we could have hit on a couple immediate impact recruits in 17 or 18 because this feels like a now or never year. Edit: And by now or never I mean now or not until a couple years from now
remains bizarre how much you can blow us out in the first game and how much we can make you sweat in round two. wish we had JRob for that, would have at least been a closer game, Bede is just such fucking trash on offense.
last year was at your place. the reality is probably more like we can't get up to play you twice but we've got just enough to get one by you because we're not your rivals in this sport, at least not from your POV.
Can we also talk about how funny it was that Jay Bilas / ESPN went to Blacksburg and did 94 feet with Red Panda instead of with anyone on their basketball team.
Control our own destiny for the ACC regular season crown. I had written it off after the second loss to Duke.
Isn’t this about the time of year that he turned it on last year? Dude is for sure looking like that lottery pick now
I make a point not to look at bracketology before march, but Lunardi's latest bracket is pretty great for us. Would much rather see Houston than Purdue but other than that, can't really complain with any of the seeds 1-9. At this point, Tennessee is the best 2 we can hope for based on matchups. Maryland at 5 in D.C. isn't ideal but we've already beaten them in college park and they're imploding. For interlopers, yes, I will be sweating bullets during the Colgate game. http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/bracketology?iteration=244®ion=3&year=2019
UMBC rematch, Wofford, Maryland, Michigan State, Kentucky, Duke burn the world fuck everyone go hoos Bernie2020
I think the perfect Hollywood redemption tour would be: UMBC (2018) -> Syracuse (2016) -> Virginia Tech / Maryland winner (Rivals) -> Tennessee (2013 Joe Harris game) - > Michigan State (2014 and 2015) -> Duke (Final boss)
I thought he did okay. He definitely forced a lot but no one else on the floor wanted to do anything. I was encouraged today even if he wasn’t great. Also loved Huff on the defensive rebounds
Lets hope clark doesnt see the 2nd half floor. He cant guard their guards and he cant shoot over their zone
