Holy shit. I hate the way we travel but swinging our dick around to force games to NFL stadiums is pretty cool.
Personally I hate it so much. College games are meant to be played on campuses. The crowds and traditions are what make college football for me and this takes away from it
When it takes games from ND I 100% agree, I have a hate love relationship with the SS. but moving road games to cool venues, I'm in.
So I guess the new 247 rankings are out and it shit all over ND prospects. Drew Pyne demoted to 3 star.
I don't know how you can watch Drew Pyne's tape and say he is a 3 star. But what do I know, I only won 17 championships in Dynasty mode at Alcorn State in NCAA 2k5
One moved from #89 overall to #121. The other moved from #159 to #302. One of the 247 recruiting guys posted this on Monday:
like i said, rankings don't mean anything at this time of the year, too much will change over the course of the next 11 months
ND recruits areas where these guys do not evaluate at all 247 and Rivals have next to no staff in the Midwest and Northeast
Braiden McGregor up to #27 overall, wow Going to suck when he goes to Michigan with all the effort the staff has put in
We say this, but then we also say the Bama’s and Clemson’s of the world have more talent than us. Can’t go both ways.
They do that’s obvious but ND clearly is getting elite talent as well more than 13th to 17th ranked classes reflect
i think the last few classes are more in the 5-10 range and i think that's bearing fruit on the field some of those early classes were awful though
Its really bizarre because those earlier classes all ranked higher in the "team rankings" They are giving out way too many 4 stars these days and continue to over hype certain geographic areas of the country. No way last years ND and Washington classes will in 5 years be looked at as 15th and 16th best, most likely both will be in the top 4-7 range.
They don’t take into account team need, position scheme fit etc. Which Kelly has crushed the last few years. Everyone has a position that makes sense and is not required to play as a freshman. Can’t say we have been able to say that about Nd for a long time
I've never understood this. There is a huge, huge difference between the highest ranked 4 star and the lowest. Its basically the difference between a late first round pick and undrafted.
I liked davis as sort of a scat back. Dont rhink he has the tools for a corner? Cuz we sure as hell dont need him at safety
4.57 for Dexter on his 1st run About where I’d expect. Interested to see what his 10 yard split is. Always thought he was more explosive than having elite top end speed.
He looked good, got a shit pass on the "wheel route" drill. I was thinking they'd give him another run and they didn't.
That’s rough considering pass catching ability is probably a knock on him right now. But then you have this...
Clausen 4$ Adams 3$ Tate 5$ Carlson 2$ Jaylon 4$ Love 4$ Sheldon day 3$ And with my extra dollar I take Maurice stovall
the problem with clausen was the long motion, he could sling it downfield with accuracy better than any qb I have seen at Nd.
He had the quickest throwing motion of any QB prospect most analysts have ever seen. It should be criminal what Charlie Weis did to it.
And that classic 45 yards, Quick and perfect throw...if you really think clausen would not have the arm to play with fuller indon’t Know what to tell you
