Sanford is dope. Got Willow Tree and Smiling Bison plus a full liquor Imperial there. Used to like Celery City before their bartenders became assholes. Food was so cheap there. But go to Bitters and Brass, that place is gorgeous and the bartenders are really good.
Wob hobs is another fun quirky brewery right across from Sanford brewing. If you’re there before 9 stop in the west end for 2 for 1s on everything
Haven't been in the area much but East end market is cool. Domu had an hour+ wait before 6pm though. It looks amazing But just can't wait with a small kid.
Longwood location is closer to Lake Mary. There is a shit ton of stuff on Lake Mary Blvd. Also a lot down towards Sandford. There is a plaza called Colonial Town Park at the corner of H E Thomas Parkway and International Blvd that also has a lot of places, if you like Irish, i'd recommend Liam Fitzpatrick's. Market Promenade Ave, Lake Mary, FL 32746
Orlando peeps, some of y'all might now that I am heavily involved with a pet rescue group here in town called The Pixel Fund. Our group is expecting a large amount of animals coming in after the hurricane. If you have ever considered fostering, even if it is short-term emergency fostering, the need is absolutely urgent. The shelters we deal with have been putting down adoptable dogs all week to make room for pets coming from evacuation zones, as is required by local governments. The more foster families we have, the more animals we can save. Let me know if you can do anything, and if you want to straight apply to foster, go here and fill out the form, then PM me with your name so I can help push it through. Thanks y'all! http://www.thepixelfund.org/application-for-fostering-2017.html
Anyone know what the fuck is up with Hamilton tickets? There still isn't an onsale date announced and the show is in January.
Tickets on sale Friday https://www.orlandosentinel.com/ent...er-hamilton-tickets-ready-20181114-story.html
Finally tried out Smiling Bison in Sanford last week, enjoyed it quite a bit. The Duck pizza appetizer was legit AF. There are bigger and better drink menus available in that area but overall I was pleased with it.
one of the few hyped up places that hasn't disappointed. its now overpriced so i dont buy anymore but they are good
honestly for $5 I think they are finely priced, 1 cookie is 2 desserts for me so it's not terrible Sprinkles cupcakes are $5 a piece and those things are trash compared to these cookies (however Sprinkles makes a fine brownie) gideon's is in east end market on Corrine between baldwin/leu gardens and in december they have a mint cookie that is basically their triple chocolate cookie but with andes mints all their cookies are pretty outrageous, but the halloween one (only in october) is my favorite then the cookies and cream one for the limited ones, you can only get 2 per guest and this week and last week they have been selling out by 1 or 2pm, they were sold out by 1030am last friday when I went so I went back today
anyone been to Pizza Bruno on curry ford? not sure how I never heard of it before but the garlic knots & meatballs are pretty amazing
seriously how have you never heard of that before? place been open a few years and its been packed ever since. they are even opening a by the slice place on mills.
Thinking about spending a week in the area last week of July, of course hit the parks and maybe MLS ASG
I mean weather will be ass then but its a fun area especially during games. The entire city is one enormous bar crawl.
Considering moving here. Would be living either in downtown or Lake Davis area. Tell me why I shouldn’t.
Not sure your priorities but here's some districts to know of. https://www.orlandomainstreets.com/districts/
College Park and a few other areas have this but with that ability, you also have the daily vagrants limping by with a shopping cart. Diversity and such.
Me and the lady are visiting your city this May. Will be there from Thursday to Tuesday. Going to hit up Harry Potter World for two days, and would love recommendations on what to do the other two days.
About a 1/3 chance I'll be stationed at Patrick AFB this fall. Really hoping to get back to the C-FL area.
Mix was meaning to ask how your day was during the Corporate 5K. imo there were wayyyyy too many people for the area for that event. I was in a parking garage for about an hour and a half after.
Wanting to bump this again. We fly down tomorrow(looks like weather may be spotty), but wondering if anyone has any food recommendations. Plan for the two free days are to hit up SeaLife Aquarium and do the Orlando City game Saturday, and Monday hit up the outlets. If anyone has anything else please feel free to let me know. Thanks guys
