Being that I’m a sucker for those shields, it’s going to be hard not to turn this into a 60 day challenge since that’s the longest consecutive days badge that they have
I’m back on 45s. Sorry for being out for a few. Spoiler: Caution slipped while grooming and sliced a hole in my man parts
Day 11: yoga Day 12 20 min walk Day 13: 6 mile run. 15 min low impact with Emma. 10 min Cool down with Emma. Stretchs with Emma and Robin. Hopefully I’ll do some yoga tomorrow. I seriously don’t know what day it is but I haven’t missed one
day 14 of 30: 30 minute Pyung whatever ride with Robin from the winter olympics because it came with a badge
Day 14 of 30: Complete - 30 minute metric ride because I’m exhausted and got a little wine drunk at Hamilton last night.
Day 14: yoga because I’m slightly hangover and I killed my legs yesterday. I’ve noticed my peloton miles not updating correctly on the group but fine on the home page.
I’m having the same problem. I logged like 1,000 miles this week, but only about 100 showed up in the group.
Ugh but this is what I mean. There is a 17 mile difference. Not a big deal just wondering if anyone was having the same issue.
I need to have a big March. Still on pace for my year goal but need to not doing anything stupid this month.
Broke through another plateau this week shortly after I started revisiting Power Zones again. Don't know why I can't seem to stay with them other playlists are a little rough and Wilpers has much less impressive fun bags than JJ. Maybe I'm mistaking small samples for causality, but PZ rides seem to raise my baseline power...just like MW says they will.
Peloton is great, but it makes being sick even worse. I'm already mad enough when I'm sick, seeing a bike I can't ride makes me even angrier.
day 15 of 30: 45 minute Turkey Burn from Thanksgiving 2017 because I anticipated a Turkey badge. Didn't get one. Feel robbed. Although I broke 400 output for the first time which is something I guess Also did a 5 minute cool down with Leanne. Great tits. Subpar voice.
I keep telling you to shut it down. Don’t want to hurt yourself too bad. Come back strong in 2020. Day 15: Two 30 min rides one with HMC another with Leanne. 20 min shoulders and Arms with Olivia. 20 min yoga. Somehow I’ve walked over 6 miles today.
Looking for a ride and got the alert that someone just joined a class. Let’s do this. Let’s go Boo MFer!
Day 14 of 30: Complete - 45 minute Robin ride. Tony Wonder kicked my ass. Still finished with a PR of 665, but Tony blew passed me after about 15 minutes and never looked back.
I think I'm going to try a 15 minute climb ride this evening to sweat the remaining crap out of my body. 665 PR is absolutely insane. I cannot fathom how that is possible.
760 is what I finished at. It worked out well for me that you started a couple minutes ahead of me. Worked hard early to catch you which was an advantage to me. Appreciate the motivation. Beat my previous PR by 19. Tonight will be a much easier ride.
Day 16 of 30: Complete - 30 minute scenic because I’m tired and still licking my wounds from the ass kicking Tony Wonder gave me last night.
Holy fuck. 281W average? That's badass man. I think my PR from the other day was 629 with an average of 232. I can't even fathom hitting 760. It's pretty insane the growth you see with steady work. The most I could manage last year was 591, just couldn't push beyond. Then I hurt my foot in September and by the time I started back up in late December I was back down to not being able to get above 500. It's been PR after PR for the past couple of weeks, I guess my next goal is 650. Hoping to crack that 700 mark by my bday in July.
Day 17 of 30: Complete - 45 minute with Alex. Today was the first day of this streak that my legs really felt like shit.
so I just realized that I'll be out of town next weekend. I'll attempt to go to a gym and bike via the app.
You’re going to do more harm than good if you don’t (assuming you’re not) add some stretching/yoga/strength training in place or at least along with cardio every day. You need to take a active recovery day. Take a day to go yoga and one for low impact rides. You’re body/legs will thank you
Been sick since Sunday but I hopped on the bike to do a 15 min climb ride with Jenn this morning. Immediately felt tired but I pushed through. Decided my new goal is to try to hit a 300kj on a 20 minute ride by end of April at the latest.
Day 17: 3 outdoor rides. One to breakfast one to drop some stuff off and lastly to do some errands. The last ride was broken up into two rides because my watch almost died so I had to switch to my Strava on my phone. 20 min full body strength. Day 18: 45 min women’s history ride with Emma for the badge. Two 15 rides and a 10 min cool down ride. 5 min stretch. Hope to ride run and yoga tomorrow.
Day 19 of 30: Complete - 30 minute metric ride. Knee is a little sore. Hoping it’s just inflammation from a higher carb today.
