So far I've liked this crossover alot better than I did the last two so maybe not including Legends was the right call
So they’re going huge and we are getting Crisis for next years crossover. Not gonna lie, I’m pumped. This lead up cross over was a hell of a lot fun.
Man I'm so excited to see what they do for Crisis. I wonder what the deal was Oliver offered the monitor.
episode would have been a lot better without them trying to turn the majority of it into Cloverfield...smh at civilians being allowed to follow them as they go after a dangerous villain.
It revealed the documentary parts were actually flash forwards of Blackstar and Connor Hawk (John Diggle Jr) watching the movie. Blackstar uses the scenes of the Arrow “lair” to find it in their present day. She never says why she wants to find it, though.
did anyone else thing the acting in the last episode was particularly bad? even for its already low standard?
Her name is Mia. It's implied she is Mia Dearden, who was one of the sidekicks of Oliver named Speedy. She seems to hate vigilantes, and I'd probably guess it has something to do with her time working with Oliver. But I could definitely be wrong, because I'm 94% sure Oliver is dying during the Crisis crossover next season. They don't give away one way or another if Little Diggle hates vigilantes, from what I could tell. That was in Legends, and it was a different future than the one in these flash forwards.
Yep. That’s the deal he made with The Monitor. He offered himself as sacrifice. With that said, I honestly expected them to continue the show for at least the rest of a full season after he dies. They’re pretty much telling everyone what happens now.
My guess is because Black Lightning. Season finale is next week, I would assume that Legends starts back the week after
Really disappointed with that flash forward episode. Except for Nyssa. She could never disappoint me.
Felicity’s daughter can whoop my ass anytime. Not that I’m attracted to aggressive, dominant women like her or anything.
That was a solid episode. Did not see the swerve of Emiko not only being a member of the Ninth Circle, but also ranking higher than Dante. Confused about the show implying she sunk Queen's Gambit, though. They definitely showed Malcolm did it. Maybe they worked together? Or a deus ex machina from Flashpoint?
Felicity dropping Smoak after this season. Apparently her decision. Seems like a pretty easy write around though. Ollie just sends her to that cabin with their baby. https://tvline.com/2019/03/30/arrow-emily-bett-rickards-felicity-smoak-leaving-final-season-8/
I'll wait to see how they pull this altogether but it seems weird that Felicity won't be around for Crisis or Oliver's death.
Does that closing part of the joint statement mean that Rickards will likely return for at least the sure-to-be-grand series finale? (Arrow’s eighth and final season is running just 10 episodes.) “I cannot comment on that,” Schwartz answered. https://tvline.com/2019/03/31/arrow-felicity-exit-storyline-emily-bett-rickards/ Sounds like the door isn't closed on her returning after Ollie bites it to close the loop.
