I don't know why I and my friends suck on r6. We play two or three times a week and play casual, we've done ranked play twice and it was a massacre. I suppose that most other players have been at it for 4 fuckin years and we didn't start until like January.
You're onto something there. The best advice is you should continue playing against the best players...because you pick up their tactics and get better because of it. Sure there's a lot of like "being good at shooters" that helps...but map knowledge and tactics can make even average players excellent at R6:S. I've been platinum (top 5% of players) every season except one where I was diamond (top .5% of players) *humble brag*. I also have 60+ days played on the game per xbox. That's days not hours. There are a handful of people in the squad I play with who have between 100-150 days played.
Those two ranked matches we played were humbling. The second match had two strangers on the squad though so they sort of carried us to a 3-5 loss. Can you confirm, ranked is best of 7 match, but win by 2? Like if we had tied it at 4-4 instead of losing the last round, the score to take the match would be 6-4, is that right?
Best of 7 unless its tied 3-3....overtime is best of 3 (not win by 2)...so a lot of overtime games end up being 5-4 victories/losses.

Haven't been gaming much over the last year or so...purchased Assassin's Creed Odyssey last week after reading the reviews and can't stop playing. It's sooooooooooo much better than previous Assassin's Creed games. I have an affinity for ancient Greece so that helps, but it's just a really, really fun experience and good story.
Anyone else grabbing the division 2? Pretty excited after the betas and was thinking we could do a TMB clan for those who don’t have another one.
Definitely not grabbing it. Division 1 was fun but multiplayer was pretty meh. Division 2 might be a purchase like 5-6 months down the road when its on sale.
Been playing it on and off for 4 years it is my guilty pleasure game. Play for a few matches most days
Probably gonna get it. I played 1 on the PC. Didn't get far in it but I've been playing by XB1 more lately so I'm gonna get 2. Gamertag is the same as my username.
I love it but if I play too much I get way too competitive and start to hate and tilt hard it because of teammate stupidity, so I will take months off at a time, but I will always come back to it with a clear head and my play and rank will improve dramatically after each hiatus.
RL is still great. Been playing it daily lately and am at my highest ever rank love the xplat xparty update
Does Sony have the cash to do this? Just looked briefly into this, the rumor has them trying to acquire at $130 a share, which is $10 off its 52 week high, and a 45% premium over current price. Their stock surged yesterday in the rumor but has fallen back to pre rumor levels today indicating it was likely bull shit.
i wonder who starts these rumors, and what the risk is to the company (Sony). float rumors that you might acquire something, get a stock boost for a little bit, then go back to normal with no harm done.
i would still be pretty shocked to see it happen, but it could. the gaming industry is in a very strange spot. console gaming as we know it is likely about to change massively. microsoft wants xbox to be a platform rather than a console bc "consoles arent where the money is". we could legit be just a few years away from xbox live on playstation. with more and more top tier tech companies putting out their own multimedia devices all while gaming is moving towards streaming games, that is absolutely the right decision to make. everyone might not have an xbox, but everyone has something. if xbox is on everything and not just xboxes microsoft makes more money.
Just bought The Division 2. Then I saw a sale for Kingdom Come Deliverance for $30 that ends tomorrow, so I got that as well. Excited to try both, but I have heard very mixed things about the latter though I always wanted to try it.
I’m playing a shit ton of Apex and I love it. I’m not great but I’m usually not a drag on a team either.
Apex probably my fav game at the moment. Splurged on the cheaper battle pass last night. Division 2 isn't bad either, but I need to either play it in the middle of the day or with someone else to enjoy it -- last night it put me to sleep.
Apex is awesome, I never got into fortnite but apex is super accessible and the map is so well designed. It’s a really well balanced game I feel like.
Thought the same thing, but kept playing Apex due to folks like Space playing it and SMITE making me want to pull all of my hair out. Now it's grown on me completely, and the game I want to play most when I sign on atm.
I don’t play Apex. I have no idea what you’re talking about. Imagine being addicted to that sad game! Losers!
Saw your tag in the first post, I’ll add you when I get home tonight, and show you my very very mediocre to below average skills.
Listen kid, I’ll play with you. But any purple or gold items I get first dibs and if you take any of my kills then I’ll report you.
Am I alone in feeling like it’s 100 times easier to play with people with microphones? The ping system is effective but it’s so much easier when you can talk to people, but it feels like 1 in 50 people actually use a mic.
