Who fuckin cares. The kids should be getting paid. I honestly couldn’t give less of a shit about this “scandal” where shoe companies give some of their profits back to the players that are generating their sales
My only issue with it is the wholesome coaches and schools that are playing the 'victim' card. Pay the kids...perfectly fine with me...but the NCAA and its cash cows should be hammered.

Why would Self leave? KU may have to vacate some wins perhaps, but there doesnt appear enough to hang him. Preston never played and Silvio DeSousa sat once things came to light. If want to look into Zion they will have to look at Duke & NCAA doesnt want to do that. Is KU faultless? Hell no, but none of the big schools are.

Man rough stretch for #LSU Tigers First they gave up 74 points to us in a crucial loss in football in november, next we are getting ready to steal their star DT recruit who plays HS football in Baton Rouge, their baseball team got swept last weekend by a 2nd tier team in texas and now their basketball program is getting ready to be handed the death penalty.
I didn't say KU was clean. I said i would be surprised if they had enough on Self to ban him or KU to fire him. I think all the big schools are complicit bc shoe companies started paying kids not individual boosters. The whole system including NCAA is built on turning a blind eye as long as NCAA gets their cut. I think getting rid of one and done is a good idea and would help clean up the college game some. The NCAA pushed the FBI to investigate bc they have more legal power but most of the schools did a good job of legally insulating themselves from the shoe company representatives.
I definitely agree that the NCAA is the biggest crook in all of this. But I'm a big fan of burning it all down. And as much as I enjoy seeing the uneasiness in Lawrence...the shit storm that should hit Duke will be just as fun, or more.
