I want a proper CPU in the PS5 so we can actually get games with solid frame rates. This 30 fps is nonsense. Games already look amazing so I'm not concerned with an upgrade in that department so much.
need to get games running at 60fps. also gonna guess that PS5 games will be even larger than PS4 games, as far as space requirements, so even 5TB will fill up fast.
Didnt include it in my list because it was already talked about in that video. It's way up there in need, but not sure it dwarfs those by any means. It's more a QoL thing than anything, whereas the others 2 are absolutely needed. I think Aussie named the biggest priority a few posts up, but I just assume that that will be a given with the PS5.
1. 60 fps 2. improved controller 3. backwards compatibility 4. substantial internal storage or at least internal ssd.
I'm sure theylth skimp on storage again. I'll just have to install my own again. I have a few games running off my internal SSD and then the rest on my external HDD.
This fucking article gave me tears https://waypoint.vice.com/en_us/article/59xgqz/resident-evil-2-survivor-compassion
Like lmao “Early on, protagonists Claire and Leon hear a radio message instructing all citizens to head for the station. That notion is wild, the police station as fortress/safe haven is laughably naive (particularly for people of color). It certainly was in the 90s as well, and really, when has policing in America ever actually been about keeping neighborhoods safe as opposed to keeping a racist status quo up and running?”
Guys, PSVR has some gems. We kopped it over the weekend and have played Beat Saber and Tetris Effect religiously since Friday.
Someone is trying way too hard. It's not even made by Americans so they don't know shit about our culture anyway.
Another nice sale going on. I was able to score Witcher 3 Complete Edition, SW Battlefront 2, and Golf Club 2 for less than $30. Now my back log grows even more. https://blog.us.playstation.com/2019/02/14/critics-choice-sale-deep-discounts-on-prime-picks/
Burnout Paradise for $6 is a steal Divinity II for $36 Odin hint hint Might pick up Celeste now that it's $12 and Fractured but hole for $15
I bought a new disk copy of Fractured a few weeks ago for $20. The voucher for Stick of Truth still works for those so if you want that or haven't played it yet id suggest that route. TSOT was amazing
The other day i loaded up my save. I thought "as long as this is decently through white orchard imma play this shit." When it loaded i was saving that motherfucking merchant from the motherfucking griffin. So i played apex instead.
Is there a way to make my own mic feed back into my headset? I'd like to hear myself, apparently I'm yelling quite loudly in the house. Also I never hear any shouted questions from the kitchen, but if my mic input fed back into my headset output, I believe I would hear both.
Hollow Knight is good. I had to use a guide because there’s very little hand holding and linearity. I wish there was cross platform play so I could play it across my pc/switch/ps4.
Hollow Knight is spectacular. I spent about 75 hours on it (not at all necessary but I wanted to beat as many bosses as possible).
That would be somewhat surprising because Sony seems to avoid the fall release window. I was kind of expecting September, similar to Spider-Man last year.
be right back, taking that week off. But for real, i'm taking multiple days off so I can play the original again and then roll right into Part 2.
I beat the first couple bosses in Forgotten Crossroads over the last day or two, it really is a spectacular game. The part i'm in is so drab (not a complaint at all), can't wait to see all they do with the colors in the other parts of the game.
I read an article not to long ago that Sony is shutting down development for PS4 with their first party studios. I’ve used that as an excuse for me to say that everything we think is coming soon to PS4 is actually gonna be there for the PS5 launch. Naturally, my friends think I’m crazy

Kind of what I was worried about, in regard to the gunplay. Good to hear that the story is good, but I think we are to a point in gaming where we shouldn't accept shitty gameplay just because the game is delivering a vast open world with all kinds of things to do. It's my reason for not finishing games like RDR2, GTAV, Witcher 3, etc. The stories might be phenomenal but if it feels like I'm dragging myself through subpar combat just to get to those good story moments, then why am I even playing it. Wouldn't it just be better to watch a movie/show at that point? When you have games like GOW/Souls type games/Nier out there that deliver absolutely amazing gameplay with precise controls along with an open world just slam packed with fun things to do, interesting lore and an amazing story to go with it..it just shows how lazy a lot of open world developers are these days. Sacrificing gameplay for an open world is a PS2/early PS3 era tactic and should be a thing of the past.
in fact i can't name a single one i even liked. fortnite if it weren't for bloom perhaps. tlou was awful. the division is awful. anthem at least has cool movement so that helps. mass effect was terrible. i take it back, gears is fine.
I disagree with the division. The gunplay is connected to perks that are on weapons and gear. The more you stack the perks the better the gun play feels.
