This isn’t a spoiler, but, not gonna lie, it got mighty dusty for me in the theater during the opening credits.
That is widely considered an abortion of a comic. I can't stand when comic writers decide they need to overpower a character. Next to whoever is considered god in DC and The One Above all, the top rung should always be Anti Monitor and Living Tribunal.
you serious brocephus? He's listed in imdb credits as "Talos/Keller" His voice is one of the most recognizable for villains today. He's the first villain we meet. His appearance as a Skrull is obviously him, as is any human form he morphs into. You're not supposed to be hoodwinked when he's pretending to be a human. You're supposed to know.
finally saw the spiderman cartoon movie via torrance last night. is the art style to look sort of 3d with blurry/colored background or was the version i downloaded 3d but unlabeled as such? movie was pretty cool though it was touted so much that at this point it was going to struggle to live up to expectations.
1. I try to complete media blackouts for movies I plan on seeing 2. From the way the story was told, I think so.
If the movie has been out for 2 days, is it still a spoiler? That particular thing was worth a spoiler for another day or two, IMO. Not everyone checks IMDB before seeing a movie.
IMO if you're in a movie thread after the movie is released hoping not to have anything spoiled, you deserve what you get.
Well yeah, but you're bitching about the character an actor plays, which was announced months ago, being a spoiler.
Good call on your part since you apparently don't read about movies you're interested in or have any self control.
I was bitched out friday night by her on the phone since I went and solo'd it without her, my response: "That's what happens when you leave town and the only thing I have to do is dog sit and laundry."
Since you keep responding, I’ll clarify - I saw the movie opening night. Literally nothing was spoiled for me. I generally get to avoid these threads until the movie comes out because I don’t like getting spoiled. I do like to poke my head into a thread to see if people liked it or thought it sucked if I haven’t seen the movie. I also like to talk about the movie after I have seen if. Since I don’t like having things spoiled for me, I like to not spoil things for others. Asking people to follow the generally accepted guidelines that are even posted in the thread title is just common courtesy. Going all agro hardo? Well that’s just you being an asshole. *re-unwatch thread*
Again, you're whinging about someone naming the actor who plays a character in the movie. You're kind of a bitch. SPOILER: Zachary Levi plays Captain Marvel in Shazam. Mark Strong plays Dr. Sivana.
FWIW, I stayed in the thread without seeing because this wasn’t the homerun movie many more recent ones have been, and I wanted to get a general feeling from the thread. We’ve always done pretty well about keeping all things even moderately spoilerish in tags, so it’s never been a problem. Will be sitting the theater in an hour.
Spoiler It was ok. Hoping you guys are right about her being better utilized in the future. She didn't have enough struggle, no character flaw besides amnesia and an inhibitor chip.
Just finished; gotta catch up on the thread later. Dat soundtrack though... And Brie in the NIN shirt.
Since no one answered you, I will The “blurry/colored background” is on purpose to serve like it’s an actual comic book. When you look at pages in a comic, the background people will he just one color/blurry background pieces and they wanted to mimic an actual comic. A lot of mixed media here. And they copyrighted the style so no future films can do it ( I could be wrong about this though ) Also, it’s the best movie of the year.
Spoiler The whole inhibitor chip/supreme intelligence scene with Nirvana kinda sucked. And it was very Matrix-esque. She definitely can't come into Endgame and wreck shop, and I hope we get some info on where she's been. Needs real adversity and development. Story was so flat in that regard. But considering the other Avenger movies I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that she'll be better used. We'll see.
Also, screw all of you; all movies are better when set in the 90s and have gratuitous song selections from that decade. Spoiler Come As You Are was a bit forced though
Spoiler music just seemed so forced to me. it was really strange and it took me out of the big fight scene towards the end, among others. overall i liked it - probably give it a 6.5/10. i agree with others who said it will be interesting to see future installments because i think they can do a lot better with the character.
Just got out: Wife hated it and wanted to leave, movie was extremely forced, music was odd Bottom tier marvel movie, might watch on tnt again in 3 years I could care less that she’s in the next avengers and that’s a huge miss to me
